Hello lovelies! This is my first shot at a story on Wattpad, and I hope I don't disappoint!
Just as a side note, if you happen to see the name "James" anywhere in the first few chapters, that's because Dustin was originally supposed to be named James and I changed my mind not long after.

Chapter One- Nothing But the Truth
"Annalise!" Came voice, and later someone pounding at the door. "Get up!"
I ignored my older sister and put a pillow over my head. I rolled over, absolutely content with staying in bed all day long. School could suck it.
"Come on, Lise! Winter break starts in two weeks, you'll have plenty of time to sleep then."
I continued to ignore April, hoping to high heaven that she didn't suddenly decide that she wanted to pick the lock on my door that I always got in trouble for locking, even though I wouldn't put it past her for a split second.
As if on cue, the door swung open, reminding me that my luck hadn't changed just yet.
Well, damn.
April pulled the pillow off my head and threw it across the room. She grabbed me by the ankles and pulled, and I slipped right off the bed. I landed on the floor with a thud that was so soft no one would have thought it came from a teenaged girl. What can I say? I'm not a big person. And it might help that the sheets are silk...
I glared at her, earning one of her smug, teasing smirks in return.
I flipped her off, and she turned without hesitation and headed out the door.
"Get ready!" She called in that sing-song, cheerful voice of hers. It drove me insane.
I scowled as I got up and hopped into the shower. Screw April. She needed to learn to mind her own damn business.
When I climbed out of the shower, I pulled on a pair of white skinny jeans and a blue "Emotions" t-shirt. My hair usually dried messily, but I was far too lazy to do anything with it. I quickly added some makeup to the monstrosity that I called my face and paded downstairs in my bare feet.
When I made my way into the living room, I stood at the couch ready to flop down onto it, but April was suddenly standing right in front of me.
"Oh no you don't," She said, grabbing my hand and yanking me out the door. I nearly faceplanted on the welcome mat.
I glared at her when she shoved me out onto the porch, just before she tossed my shoes and bag at me.
"Have a good day!" She quirpped with a completely fake smile, then slammed the door shut behind her. I was positive I would have growled at her if I could have.
I pulled my hood up over my head and reached into the back pocket of my bag for my iPod, sticking it on shuffle as I headed down our driveway. I waited as six and a half songs played, lazily strolling towards the school.
Head down, hood up, headphones in, I quickly grabbed what I needed from my locker and booked it for the History room. I walked in the door as the bell started ringing, and I stiffled a smile as Mrs. Madin gave me an etremely annoyed look.
"Cutting it close there, Ms. DeMarco," She muttered, and I looked down as if to say that I was sorry.
As I walked to my seat, I was surrounded by quick glances and strange looks. I attempted to ignore them, even though anyone could tell that it bugged me on some level.
As the bell rang to signal the end of first period, I sighed. I shouldered my bag and headed for second period, nearly tripped in the hall more than once. Second period proceeded the same as first, and third period did the same. Fourth was no exception.
