I got home still eating the candy i had about 20 left . Something about them made me feel energized and fuller. It was by far the best candy with a gooey center ever and i knew i would have to by another full bag. I took the book in my hand and then walked inside . I walked up stairs and knocked on my dad's door.

"Come in Kenna." He said.

"Hey dad, I got the book you wanted." I said

He smiled lightly but the worry lines on his face told a different story. He seemed worried about something. I placed the book into his lap and he picked it up. I got up to walk away until he called my name.

"Stay Kenna wanna talk to you about something."

I went back onto the bed and sprawled out next to him. He picked up the book and flipped a couple pages until he reached a page where a man stood tall with the sun behind him. holding a lady with beautiful brownish read hair that was just shades darker then mine. She had flowers that crowned her head and a grass skirt she seemed island like. He had golden hair and beautiful amber eyes that seemed to ignite like the sun. They looked lovey and so happy.

"Kenna, This one right here," He pointed a finger to the man,"He's the god of the sun..Helios . This woman right here is one of the Nesoi goddesses of the islands that are now cast down deep into the ocean during posiedons rage. These are Primoridal gods . They were before the olmypians . They are much more powerful though in my head. See these to had a baby girl who meant so much to them though they knew they couldnt keep her. It the reign of the olympians and Posiden was already at war with the Nesoi's . If he knew that a baby was sprung from one of them then he would surly kill her. Sadly he found out about her from a nymph who told him. He sent men out to kill the baby. The baby was powerful she held the sun and the power of the island goddess to bare fruit and secure life with the animals. One day The men that tried to kill the baby almost got away they ran into a barn so that she would be sacraficed to him.  Flames had erupted all around her yet she wasnt burnt . She was relaxed calm while the men ran away in fear of getting burnt. They were frightened. But the baby survived.....it survived"

I looked at him questionably,"You sound as if this is personal. Like you were there." I cocked my head to the side utterly confused.

He didnt answer he just kept looking at the book. He then flipped the page and a picture of a baby. With redishbrown hair like mine and bright amber eyes that seemed to glow with anticipation. Her skin was  a goldish color. She was wrapped up in a golden blanket. The baby was beautful, Though something about that picture seemed familiar. I thought about it for a minute...... Coould it be me.... I sat there and looked at the picture over my dad's shoulder and then shook my head.

Me a goddess ... Ha you've got to be kidding me. I Dugg in my pocket and pulled out a a piece of the wonderful candy and sucked on it for a bit until the gooey middle poured gently onto my tounge and then down my throat. I sat there curiously and continued to look at the picture. I then reached over his shoulder and turn the page nack to the two people. Something seemed familiar but i seriously couldnt put a finger on it. I read some of the the side text. 'Helios God of the sun and light. Sometime mistakened as the olympian Apollo. These two are two distinct gods . Helios hasa crown of gold around his head and brings the sun up every dawn and pulls it down every even so that the moon goddess can bring up the moon.  He rides in a sun chariot usually with 12 large firehorses pulling it along. It was said once that he was carrying a bright object in his handas he brought up the sun one morning.' I stopped reading after that and got off my dad's bed.

"Well that was interesting dont ya think?" I said cautionsly as my dads worry lines started to form again,"Dad are you alright?"

He looked at me and smiled,"Yeah." He attempted a laugh but it sound forced and disorientated.
