Hello readers!
Passion For Poetry
I had to do an English project that required my classmates and I to create a poem. As my teacher was talking about the requirements I started writing down things to write about since I never really understood poetry.
I found out that there are many other ways of writing poetry. The only poetry I was looking at was from the 1500s and it bored me. I found out that I can write about life today and how I feel about it by putting my thoughts onto a piece of paper. I may write random things in my book but just know they are all relevant to what is happening in this time and generation.
When I started writing I showed my friends and they automatically told me that this is an amazing poem and I should show it to my teachers right away because I was very talented. At first I didn't believe her, but looking at where I am now I am glad that I took poetry more serious. Before I had the courage to show my English teacher I showed my History teacher since my poem had a lot to do with how life was in the 1900s and how life has evolved since then even though we still have a long way to go.
My History teacher told me that I was sure to get an A on this making me even more confident in my so called "talent". That day I went home to my parents and showed them because I was so proud of what I had accomplished. Of course as my parents I expected them to support me no matter what but I was completely surprised with their reaction. They actually loved what I did and believed I could do something more.
My first poem I ever written is called "A Life That Was Never Given" which I hope will be published soon.
I felt like something opened up inside me after discovering that I have a passion for poetry. It felt like had a whole different purpose in life now. I have grown to love it and in the future I would like to make a career out of it.
(I also want to be an architect or an orthopedic surgeon but who says I can't do both)
Nothing is stopping me from accomplish my dreams.
Inspiration
I am proud to say that my friends and family are my inspiration since they always tell me to keep going and never quit doing what I love.
Especially my mother and father. Whenever I'm around them I read them my poems so I can get feedback and as always, they never seem to let me down.
Cover of the book
Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to design this cover.
So let me tell you. Nicki and Cardi had some type of unknown "beef" and know one knew what it was about. These unsaid words from both sides were building up so basically,
IT'S A MOUTH FULL OF WORDS
But I'm pretty sure they are becoming friends as of right now.Thank you so much!

Go for it. Get back on track. Follow your dreams.

Btw I'm putting gifs in each poem to lighten the mood because you know, things can get boring.
Better appreciate it 😁😁😁😁
~I'm going to keep the intro short so I hope you enjoy!
And make sure to vote and comment but only if you want to. I don't like forcing anyone to do things.
But most importantly, Please actually read the book...
Some people just skim through it which is sad but the truth.
