Chapter 1: On My P's

It was quiet in Burgess. The sun rising up above the trees and houses. Snow still slowly falling. Birds chirping and speaking to each other. It was nice. A nice town, A nice place and a small one too. It was early in the morning but there were still cars driving around and stopping off at places. Shops were opening and so were peoples blinds. They had everything in Burgess. Library's , lots of working places, parks, shops, schools, everything they needed. It was nice. Peaceful.

"UP! Come on! Up! It's school Bell you need to get up. Only got one more week left."

"Five more minutes." Bell said being half asleep.

"No. Come on you do this every morning."

"No I don't." Bell mumbled into her pillow.

"Alright then. I taking your sheets away."

"Okay mum, I'm really scar- ARGH!" Bell's mum ripped off her sheets and walked out of her bedroom.

"Breakfast is on the table!" Bell's mum called out.

|Bell's POV|

I lay there shivering like hell, reaching for anything I can use to cover myself up and get warm. I eventually give up and get out of bed. "Fu- It's freezing!" I quickly make my way over to the bathroom and get changed into some jeans, Long sleeved shirt and a grey jumper. I didn't even worry about my hair. Don't really care. I make my way downstairs and see my breakfast sitting at the table. It was nothing special, just some cereal.

"Okay, Bell I've gotta go to work. I'll see ya when I get back?" My mum asked as she made her way over to me and kissed my head.

"Yeah maybe. I don't know if I'm going out with Lilly, Sue and Alice after school. So I might be home later."

"Okay. Just be careful. Bye love you!"

"Bye love you too!" I called out. I wasn't really sure if I wanted to go out with Lilly, Sue and Alice. I mean last time we went, Sue got into a fight with this guy. Yeah a GUY! And I'm wasn't really in the mood to go out, I never do when I'm on my period. I hate being a women. It sucks.

I get up and go to put my bowl in the sink and head up stairs to get my things for school. I grab my books and put them in. Check! I grab my lunch and put it in. Check! Then I pick up my backpack and head down stairs. When I reach the door I hear my phone buzzing off. I grab it out of my pocket and check it and see I have a text message from Lilly.

Lilly: Hey, so are we going to the mall after school today?

Me: Idk... I'm just not feeling it.

Lilly: Feeling it?

Me: I'm on my P's.

Lilly: P's?

Me: Oh my god Lilly. PERIOD! I'm on my period.

Lilly: Oooooooooooh! oh but plz B! Plz! I heard hot guys are gonna be there! ^.^

Me: And?

Lilly: And so we can go guy watching. sound good?

I sigh and stare at my phone. "Arh I hate you Lilly." I mumble to myself.

Lilly: So?

Me: fine.

Lilly: YAY okay bring money okay? g2g now! Cya at the bus stop!

Me: bye

I put my phone away and leave the house. I walk for about five minutes until I get to the bus stop. I look around to see any of my friends but none are in sight. I pull out my phone and started to play piano tiles. I don't like to brag but, I'm pretty great at piano tiles. I lift my head to see if any of my friends were in sight but they weren't. I looked around and saw no one.I checked the time and sighed. 7:19 am. 'I guess I am pretty early' I thought. Just as I was turning my head back to my phone I saw something that caught my eye. Jackson J. Overland.
