Chapter 14: College

Three months later...

|Bell's POV|

I jogged around my room grabbing things and putting them into my bag. I grabbed clothes and stuffed them into my big black bag. I took and deep breath and ran fingers through my hair then ran into my bathroom grabbing some toiletries. I eventually got packed and looked around my room. It was practically empty. All my posters were off my wall only showing some drawings I did when I was younger. Seeing my room like this made me a little sad. I sighed and dragged my bag down stairs and put my flats on and readjusted my singlet. I thought about changing into shorts since were in Summer because I know how much Jack likes me in shorts but I decided to tease him.

"Mum! I'm ready!" I called out grabbing my bag and putting it over my shoulder.

"Okay! I'll be there in a minute!" I heard her call out. I fixed myself up in the mirror on the hall way wall and felt a buzz on my leg. I figured it was my phone so I pulled out my iPhone 5 since I got rid of that piece of shit phone I had ages ago. I turned it on and saw a message some Sue.

Sue: Hey! First day of college is here you scared?

Yep. I was going to college. Basically back to school which was a hell hole but I have a feeling college would be different.

Me: Meh, I don't know. I'm just glad I have friends going with me.

Sue: Not only friends, your looooooveeeerrrr~

I face palmed at her texted and chuckled a bit.

Me: Shat ap!

"Okay Bell I'm ready let's go." My mum said walking down the stairs over to me. She opened the door and I took a deep breath. She stopped and looked at me with worried eyes. I saw tears welling up in her eyes and it made my heart sink. "I um..." She started. I stared at her with sad eyes. She hadn't been the same since my dad died and it wasn't even that long ago and now I was leaving. I held back my tears and let her continue. "... I'm gonna miss you. And I hope you make lots of friends and-" I cut her off by throwing myself at her by wrapping my arms around her into a hug. I soon felt her arms wrap around me and she hugged back.

"I love you mum." I whispered to her. She let out a light joyful laugh and kissed my head.

"Ah I love you too!" She said now releasing her tears. I brushed them away and smiled at her. "We'll be better get going I don't want your friends to start worrying." I nodded and followed her out the door.

We drove for awhile until we reached a very large more than one building college. "Here we are, Burgess A.S. College." My mum stated. I nodded still staring out the window starting to feel the butterflies growing. Burgess Any Study College was read the best collage for your child and my mum thought it would be good for me. I got out of the car and closed the door not taking my eyes of the place. There were a lot people everywhere walking around with there luggage, talking, saying goodbye or sitting on the tall stone wall. I went to the boot and got my bag out and put it on my shoulder. It was very heavy but I would manage until I got to my dorm room. I turned my attention back to my mum and saw her tears filling up in her eyes again.

"Well I guess I should say goodbye. Don't want to embarrass ya!" She said trying to tell me she fine. I knew she wasn't. With one swift movement I put her in my arms and hugged her and squeezed her tight.

"You never embarrass me. I love you mum." I said pulling away.

"I love you too." She said. I stood in front of her smiling. "Go on, go on! Go find your friends!" She said shoving me towards the college.

"Bu-"

"Go." She cut me off giving me a warm smile. I smiled and started to walk towards the school. "Oh and Bell," I looked at her. "No funny business with Jack." She said smirking. I blushed.

"Yes mum. I love you!" I shouted back to her.

"I love you too!" She shouted getting in her car and waving goodbye while driving off. I watched the car slowly disappear then turned back to the college. My smile slowly faded and I took a huge deep breath.

"Here we go..." I said to myself walking through the entrance.
