Chapter 7: Liking her

|Jack's POV|

I walked out of the store room down the hall and back to Jim smiling thinking back over about the kiss. I reached the sick bay and saw Jim sitting down head in hands.

"Hey." I said. He jumped a bit and looked up at me.

"Where have you been? You said you were going to go get me another ice pack but you don't even have that." Jim said sounding a bit annoyed.

"Sorry man, I just got caught up with... something." He looked at me and frowned.

"What something did you get caught up in." He asked now getting up out of his seat.

"Nothin man. Don't worry about it. It doesn't matter." I said trying to avoid the question.

"Okay," He stared at the ground. "Hey can I talk to you about something?" he asked. I gulped and turned to face him and nodded.

"Okay well, do you know Bell Johnson?" My eyes widen and my heart started to race and I nodded. "Yeah well, When you were getting a ice pack... we kinda kissed." 'WHAT?!'I thought. I felt like I had been stabbed in the heart.'They kissed. Then we kissed.' I felt like screaming. I wished I came sooner so I could of stopped it. "She came in to fix her hand and we talked and things just... happened."He said blushing a bit. I cleared my throat and spoke.

"Sorry but I couldn't help but notice you said 'kinda' kissed."I said trying to act as calm as possible.

"Yeah well there was tension and touching and... look come on dude, don't make me explain it. You know the drill anyway, you have had girls before." He said with a smirk on his face. I couldn't believe Bell. How could she do this. She wasn't a tramp or one of those girls... was she?

I straightened up and cleared my throat. "So do you... like her?" I asked waiting for an answer. He looked up and me and rubbed his face with his hand.

"I... I don't know. Look I gotta go. My dad is picking me up." He said walking over to me. "Bye Jack." He patted me on the back and gave me a warm smile and walked out of the room.

"Bye.." I said quietly to myself.

|Bell's POV|

I sat in the passenger seat next to Maddie and listened to music. All I could think about was that kissed I shared with Jack. It was my first and it was great. I felt another blush creeping onto my face and uncontrollably starting to smile. We stopped at the traffic lights waiting for the light to go green.

"Okay your gonna have to to me what happened when you were getting your bag. Cause you blushing madly, smiling like and idiot and is awfully quiet." Maddie said turning the radio down. I hold back my smile and sit there being clueless.

"Nothing happened." I said holding back my giggles. I could see Maddie in the corner of my eye giving me the death stare. I just stared out the window looking at anything besides those green/blue eyes.

"Fine. I just know you will give in sooner or later." She said turning her attention back to the road.

SO SORRY THIS CHAPTER IS REALLY SHORT!!!! And sorry I haven't been active I lost my wifi but I'm BACK! yas hope you enjoyed this chapter and I'll probably post another today!
