*Justin's POV*

My mouth hangs open when I see Lauren's curled body on the middle of the road. She is obviously crying and it breaks my heart big time. Seeing her broke like this again only means she witness Drake leaving again without proper goodbye.

All of us circled around her. No one dared to talk nor breathe. We are all holding our breath because of too much nervousness that she might break down again. It's not healthy for her to be hurt emotionally so often.

"Please get me out of here?", a broken voice cuts through my heart. Her voice is like sharpened blades making me bleed deep inside. I never heard such a voice that screams misery and hurt.

We are all looking at her with troubled eyes. We all feel guilty of not telling her that Drake will drop by. If I am the one to be ask, I will be the first to keep her away from him. He only cause Lauren's pain and hurt. Lauren's good enough for a bastard like Drake.

Seeing the girl I only love since  I was a child foolishly in love with a guy who only knows to leave her because of protecting her sounds like a bull. Can't he have Lauren by his side while doing his mission of "Lauren Protection Program".

With the pang of hatred I establish towards this whole dramatic situation, I take initiative to come near her and ask where would she want me to take her.

"Hey you crybaby as always?", I taunted.

Evil stares get shot at me, in courtesy of the 7 gentlemen around me. I didn't mind it a lot because my legs tremble at the sight of that stormy grey eyes of Dwight.

Why do I have this strong feeling that Dwight is overly protective of Lauren? Is he also..... Blimeyyyy! Lauren's really a man magnet.

Inever give in to that thought of mine instead, my vision focuses on the tear-strained amber eyes of her. Such a beauty to behold.

"The Valley! Please take me there Justin.", she said with a sly smile. I know it's her way of hiding her true emotions but hearing her talk about The Valley? I want to celebrate.

But... I thought? Her memory has been messed up(it's Dwight's term actually). Who could have thought that technology right now is way past limit that it can modify a human memory. Sounds like a freakin' smelly bullshit.

I was being told by Dwight that in behalf of her parents and also with their permission, Lauren's memory has been modified erasing a part in her childhood years.

And it strucks me. I am in that part of her memory. That's why she can't remember any single thing about me. But why would her parents do that? Knowing that our families are close and Tita Miranda(Lauren's mother) treats me like I'm her own. Why would she even think about letting Lauren forget about me. And how was Dwight know her parents? The moment they saw Lauren from that dark street, she was 2 years abandoned by her parents. How the hell was he connected?

Something's not right and I'm going to figure this out by myself.

"Hey Dude? Your always spacing out lately. If you don't want to take Princess to the Valley, my honor doing it on your behalf perhaps?", Keith shrug me out of my thought.

"Oh sorry. But sorry to disappoint you young Keith-een(mimicking Lauren's voice when she call him that way-that made everyone laugh easing the tension). My pleasure doing it for your beloved princess.", I finish taunting Keith. Lauren's now getting up by herself but she fails. All of us try to help her but with one raise of her hand signalling us not to, we back off.

"Look at my 8 young gentlemen. Rescuing again their screwed-life princess", she said with the fakest smile I ever seen her wear.

"You don't have to Lauren..", Dwight reasoned but immediately cut by her.
