"This sure was one pit of an adventure, eh?" nudged the orange knight to the green one.

"Sure it was!" declared the poison knight nodding, "But, how did the others not make it through if they were stronger than us in their young years like we did?" he scratched the back of his head, "How did people like us manage to get through the horrible fate that awaited us in every corner?"

The flame knight let out a chuckle. "Well that's simple, dear Vermont!" He put his arm around the olive helmet warrior. "We are the so called, 'chosen' ones!"

"Can you please not say my na-"

"There is no such things as 'chosen ones' in this land, there's no prophecies or whatever people claim to know about." Said Blizzard the ice cavalier.

"Then, what is it exactly?" Asked the green Knight, raising his eyebrows.

"Something called 'intentness', that's it."

"Please, you are being too harsh!" wheezed out the orange knight, laughing. "You know we are the ones that killed the beast that haunted the enti-"

"Two things, Ignis." Blue cut him off, "Number one, we aren't chosen ones, Our place in the fighting mechanism was because of us doing our best in the training arena apart from being the best ones there; second, remember that you can't pronounce our names out loud."

"Why can't we say our names when we are out here?! It makes no sense, besides its kind of ridiculous to say things like... 'Green, come here!' or 'Red killed the beast' and such!" Ignis scoffed, crossing his arms forming a thin line with his mouth under the helmet. "Besides you just said mine as well, Blizzard!"

"You should ask him." Blue shrugged discretely pointing a finger at the thunder knight.

The gem kept floating through the many trails the brave gentlemen went through as they made their way to get the princesses back along with the crystal, it sure was something that would stay within them all the way back to their sacred home.

After what it seemed long hours, the sun was finally coming out of its hiding spot behind the mountains to share its light to every living and non living thing in the land, as the gigantic mass of dark clouds dispersed to give space to the sunlight with the company melody of chirping birds along a light fresh breeze caressing the gentlemen and the damsel aboard.

"Isn't this a beautiful view?" Vermont questioned the others awaiting an answer.

Ignis nodded affirmatively, the red knight just replied with a simple huff.

A small village could be seen near the kingdom's gate. In that village, there was not a lot of people, but it had a decent amount of population mostly composed of children running around happily. After the barbarian attack back in the day, the village was successfully restored with a lot of effort and support from the king in the absence of the warriors, the smell of smoke and fire with a small amount of iron, was replaced by the pleasant smell of logs, fresh pine and exquisite freshly baked bread. The sorrowful laments, explosions, fire and pain screams accompanied with the howls of agonizing people got shunned away by chirping birds and joyful talking in the path, the corpses of other warriors who couldn't make it past the gate were cremated and colorful plants took their place to commemorate them, and last but not least most of the houses in the setting composed of straw, cob and logs were fixed after being burned to the ground by the enemy, or completely rebuilt in its entirety giving the homes a fresh view for anyone who entered the territory.
