"Hey, all of you, get up now!" Raymond yelled in the room waking every child/teen up. "After eating you shall head to the King's arena."

Everyone in the room opened their eyes followed by yawns.

Hearing the word 'arena' made Artemisa jolt right up in confusion and excitement at the same time reflected on her face. An arena training on the first day? That's not how it goes usually...
She wasn't going to complain anyway though on her first day.

Right after every young person finished with their food, they all headed towards the so well known arena in the kingdom.

It was a huge, almost deteriorated coliseum that looked that anytime it was going to collapse. However, the benches weren't fully empty: The ice, fire and poison knight were sitting around the King's throne, along with a slightly large group of grey knights behind them. In that group, were Bennett and Lane, watching intently.

The red Knight stepped into the coliseum, at the center. "I know that most of you are confused, and probably think that we should get 'experience' with weapons." He rolled his eyes, "But we have no time for that! I will pick two people, and the weapon. And don't worry, you'll wear safety things."

Blizzard sighed on the bench putting one of his hands on the mask of his helmet.

Glancing over at the vastely large crowd of young people, Raymond didn't take long enough to choose.
"You, the blonde girl with curly locks and the boy with crazy hair. Come to the center."

Artemisa slowly approached the center of the scene, with a boy that had darkish skin tone, faded blue eyes and short black wavy hair. Raymond grabbed two medium sized grey armors and gave them, followed by two dull swords. The rest of the children ran towards the benches ready to watch.

"Yo dude, the heck you're doing?!" The fire Knight shouted with his hands extended. "They're children!"

"Well not anymore. The king said it, they are part of the army now!"

"Did he even agree to this?!"

Raymond growled, "I know what I'm doing!"

Ignis began making angry hand gestures until Blizzard commanded him to sit down. Vermont just remained quiet.

"Alright enough talking." sighed Red. "Show us what you know about weapons!

Artemisa and the boy were struggling to fight each other, they knew absolutely nothing about how fighting with real weapons was like. Sure, wooden swords looked similar but surely it wasn't the same. For minutes they were walking in circles clockwise, struggling to get a swing, no matter how accurate it looked, it wasn't.

The other children were watching with their hands under their chins almost falling asleep, until one of them booed loudly. "It's just a girl, come on now Dan!"

Most of the boys rooted for the boy, cheering his name out loud. This caused the kid to feel so overwhelmed that he threw a harsh swing at Artemisa's left leg, making a clank resonate and make her squeak for the sudden noise. This was enough to make the youngsters on the benches go wild except for the knights.

"Gosh, I am so sorry, I didn't know what to do!" The boy exclaimed with worry on his face.

Artemisa glared at him with a small tint of anger on her face. Her anger made her lash her blade back making another loud metal noise.

A whole ten minutes of swinging and dodging passed, both of them were drained. Heavy breathing and shaking slightly due to the constant movement. The benches of young ones didn't seem any tired of it though.
