Ben and his mother are moving into a new house with his stepfather and his step siblings. Ben likes his step family but there is only one problem. His stepbrother hates him and Ben doesn't know why.
Today is Saturday and Lennon is watching me while Rae, Izzy, and our parents work. I was peacefully sleeping when I heard talking. I opened my eyes to see Lennon talking to Cole. They were sitting on the couch and playing video games. "It's early, why are you here?" I groaned. "It's almost nine o'clock, dork." Cole laughed. "We stayed at the school last night till 9:30." I said. "Aww, is the baby tired because he was up late?" Cole cooed. "Shut up." I said turning away from them and closed my eyes.
One hour later...
"Get up, Runt." Lennon said shaking me awake. I opened my eyes and I sat up. "What do you want?" I asked. "Cole and I are going for a run. You have to come." Lennon answered. "No way." I replied. "Yes way. Now get up and get dressed before I carry you outside and you can run in your pyjamas." He told me. I sighed and got up. "Meet us downstairs." Lennon said leaving the room. I climbed down my later and changed into a t-shirt and shorts.

"I haven't had breakfast yet." I told Lennon. "Well no shit. You've been asleep the whole morning. You'll eat when we get back." Lennon replied. "I won't be able to keep up with you guys, though." I said. "We'll go slow." Lennon replied. I sighed and he said "Go put your shoes on." I nodded and picked up my shoes. I sat down on the couch and put my shoes on.
"How far are we going?" I asked. "We usually go seven miles, which is an hour and a half long, but since I know you won't last that long, we're doing three miles. Which will take us forty five minutes." Lennon answered. I nodded and Cole asked Lennon "Do you want to go swimming at my house after?" "Sure. But I have to bring Ben." Lennon answered. "You up for swimming Ben?" Cole asked. "Sure." I answered.
"Then we'll go for a run, come back home, Ben and I will change into swimsuits and we'll walk to your house." Lennon said. Cole nodded and said "Blake will be there with a few of his friends." Lennon nodded and Cole asked me "Ben, how old are you?" "I'm ten. Turning eleven." I answered. He nodded and asked Lennon "Did you score a date with Scarlett yet?" Lennon looked at Cole and then looked at me. I sighed and covered my ears. Lennon told Cole something and I kept my ears covered.
Lennon took my hands off my ears and said "Come on. Let's go." We walked out of the house and Lennon locked it. Him and Cole started jogging and I had to run to keep up with them. After five minutes, I slowed down and they stopped. I caught my breath and we started again. They slowed down a little bit and we jogged for twenty minutes. We stopped and Cole said "We're more than half way done." I nodded and Lennon told me "Our house is only a few minutes away." "Okay." I replied as he bent down to tie his shoes. Cole bent down to tie his own shoes and I asked "You said it was only a few minutes to our house right?" "Yeah." He answered.
