Ben and his mother are moving into a new house with his stepfather and his step siblings. Ben likes his step family but there is only one problem. His stepbrother hates him and Ben doesn't know why.
Today is Thursday and Griffin left on Sunday which means that Lennon is back to being mean again. We just got home from school and I was in my room packing up boxes of my toys. Brock was off today and was downstairs packing up some stuff.
"Ben, get out. I'm gonna FaceTime Scarlett." Lennon told me coming into the room. "No. FaceTime your lady love somewhere else." I replied as I finished packing up my boxes. I went over to my bed and was climbing up the ladder when he said "Shut up. Now get out." "No." I replied. "Get out." He said and pushed me off of my ladder. I landed on my right arm and screamed. "Ow!" I exclaimed. "You're fine." He replied coming over to me.
"No, Lennon. My arm hurts really bad." I said and started crying. "Shit. Your arm does look really bad." He replied examining my arm. "Dad! Come here!" Lennon yelled. Brock came upstairs and into the room. "What's wrong?" He asked coming over to us. "Ben hurt his arm." Lennon answered.
Brock looked at my arm and said "We have to go to the hospital. Your arm's broken." "Go tell the girls and get into the van." Brock told Lennon. He nodded and ran out of the room. I stood up and we walked downstairs. "How did you hurt your arm?" Brock asked me. "I fell off my ladder." I answered. He gave me an ice pack and told me to put my shoes on.
I slid on my shoes and went outside to the van. Brock called my mom and I got into the van. "Are you okay, Benny?" Raelynn asked. "Yeah." I answered. Brock got into the van and started driving to the hospital. "So Ben, did you miss a step and fall off your ladder or did Lennon hurt you?" Brock asked me. "Lennon didn't hurt me. I slipped." I answered quickly. "Dad, he's lying. I got mad at him and pushed him. I didn't think I pushed him that hard. It was an accident." Lennon told Brock.
"Lennon Noah Anderson! You are grounded for one month! No TV and no phone!" Brock exclaimed. "Fine." Lennon said looking guilty. "We will talk about this later." Brock replied. We drove to the hospital and went to the Emergency Room. After an hour, we were called and they did an X-ray on my arm. "Your arm is broken in two places and you'll need a cast." The doctor told me. He showed me where it was broken and then asked me "So what colour do you want your cast? I have green, yellow, red, blue, orange, pink, black, white or grey." "Blue please." I answered and he wrapped it up.

Once we got home Brock had us go upstairs so he could talk to Lennon in the living room. I could hear him yelling and Lecturing Lennon from my room with the door shut. After ten minutes he came upstairs and into our room? "Ben, I'm sorry I pushed you. I didn't think I pushed you that hard. It was an accident." He said. "You're not really sorry. You're just sorry you got in trouble." I told him. "Ben, I actually am sorry. I didn't know you would fall." Lennon replied. I nodded and said "Sorry Brock yelled at you." "It's fine. I deserve it." He replied.
"I kind of talked Brock out of grounding you from your phone." I said. "When?" He asked. "While we were waiting for the X-ray to be done." I answered. Rae, Izzy and Lennon all had to wait in the waiting room because only one person can go with you. "Thanks." He replied. "No problem." I said.
