Ben and his mother are moving into a new house with his stepfather and his step siblings. Ben likes his step family but there is only one problem. His stepbrother hates him and Ben doesn't know why.
Today is Friday and the bell for school to end rung. I walked outside to see Lennon waiting for me and I walked over to him. "So Izzy and Rae are having their cheerleader friends over tonight." Lennon told me. "I know. It's gonna be so loud tonight." I replied. "Yeah. But there's gonna be so many cute girls." Lennon smiled. "Is that all you think about?" I asked. He laughed and we walked home.
We walked through the door and Lennon quietly closed the door. We heard the girls and their friends upstairs and Lennon smirked. I walked up to my room and started ding my homework. Once I was finished, I sat on my bed and watched TV. After twenty minutes, Lennon came into my room and picked me up.
"Put me down." I said. "No." He replied and walked into the movie room. "Ben!" They all exclaimed as Lennon put me down. They all hugged me and Lennon looked amused. They pulled away and Rae pulled me over to her. "How was school?" She asked. "It was good." I answered.
They went back to talking to each other and I started watching whatever they had on. Out of nowhere someone started tickling me and I started laughing. "Stop." I laughed. I looked up to see Lennon and he stopped. I stuck my tongue out at him and he did the same. He hopped the couch and sat down next to me. After a few minutes Lennon farted and everybody looked at him. "Ew! Lennon go away!" Raelynn exclaimed. Lennon laughed and said "Let's go Ben." I got up with him and we walked to the game room.
I watched him play COD for two hours until Brock came home and called us downstairs for dinner. He got pizza since there were six of the girl's cheerleading friends sleeping over. We took our pizza and went back up to the game room and I watched him play some more COD. "Boys, go play outside. You can play video games all weekend." Brock told us. We nodded and turned off the Xbox and went outside. The girls and their friends were outside and I asked Rae "What are you doing?" "Working on our routines and practicing our stunts. Right now, we're working on our elevator stunts." She answered. I nodded and went back over to Lennon.
The girls started practicing their stunts and Lennon said "Lets do what they're doing. It annoys the hell out of them. Griff and I used to do it all the time." I nodded and we went over to them. Lennon picked me up and we did the stunt.

"Guys, leave us alone." Izzy said. "No. Dad told us to play outside. And, you can't tell us what to do." Lennon replied. "Yes I can because I just did." Izzy said. "Well, you can tell us what to do, but that doesn't mean we have to do it." Lennon smirked. "I'm older than both of you, so I have seniority. Respect your elders and listen to what I'm telling you. Now leave before we tell dad you're bugging us." Izzy said. 'We'll be taking care of you when you're old, so I'd be careful if I were you." Lennon smirked. "Tell ya what, if you guys leave us alone I'll give each of you five bucks." Izzy said. "Deal." Lennon replied and Izzy gave us our money and we walked downstairs. Lennon picked me up and said "Let's go play basketball." "But I can't. My arm." I replied. "You still have another arm." He said and put me down once we got outside. He picked up the basketball and passed it to me.
"I suck at basketball. I'm too short to get it in." I told him. He sighed and came over to me. He lifted me up and put me on his shoulders. "Now you're taller than me. Try now." He replied. I shot it and got it in. "Nice job, dude." Lennon said fist bumping me. We played basketball for an hour until it got dark out. I wasn't that into it, but since it made Lennon happy, I didn't want to stop playing.
"Lennon, I just got a call from Mrs. Fuller, she told me that you didn't hand in an important project. Since it's math and that's not your strongest subject, can you please work on that now? I'm only gonna ask you nicely once. The next time I have to ask, you won't have any electronics." Brock told Lennon. Lennon nodded and went up to his room. I went upstairs to the movie room and sat next to Raelynn. All the girls were painting their nails and I watched Raelynn paint her nails. "I like the swirl on your nail. It looks cool." I told her. "Thanks. I can paint your nails if you want. I can make them Captain America." Raelynn offered. "That would be awesome!" I said. "Okay. Just ask Abby first." She replied.
I nodded and walked downstairs. Mom was on the couch and I asked her "Hey mom, would it be okay if Rae painted my toenails?" "Sure." My mom answered. "Thanks mom. You're the best." I replied and went back upstairs. "She said yes." I told Raelynn. She smiled and painted my toenails.

"Do you like them?" She asked after they dried. "Yeah. Thanks Rae." I answered. "I want to go show Lennon." I added and ran to Lennon's room. "Lennon! Look what Rae did!" I told him and showed him my toenails. He looked down at them and smiled. "Awesome, dude. That's sick." He said. I smiled and went downstairs to show Brock and my mom.
"Look what Raelynn did." I told them. "Nice." They said. "I like the Captain America shields." Brock replied. "Me too." I replied. "Ben, as you know, the girls have a cheer tournament next Sunday, but you also have a dentist appointment next Sunday." Mom told me. "Okay." I said. "So, I'm going to bring the girls up to where their cheer competition is on Friday night so we can have a girls weekend and you can have a boys weekend with Lennon, Brock and Griffin. Then you'll meet us at the cheer competition on Sunday after your dentist appointment." Mom told me. I nodded and asked "Wait, Griffin's coming home next weekend?" "Yeah. It's the long weekend so he's coming home for it. Friday is a day off too, so he'll be home on Friday or Saturday." Brock answered. I nodded and went back upstairs.
"Lennon, I'm bored." I said. "So am I. How does Mrs. Fuller expect me to do the assignment if I can't understand it?" Lennon replied. "You should call her Mrs. Fullofshit." I said. He laughed and replied "I know." "Can you go get Izzy for me please?" He asked. I nodded and went to the movie room. Izzy was sitting on the couch looking at her phone. "Izzy, Lennon needs your help." I told her sitting down next to her. "Okay." She replied getting up. She followed me to Lennon's room and walked in.
"What's up, Lenny?" She asked. "I don't understand my math assignment." Lennon answered. "Trigonometry, easy." Izzy replied picking up his textbook. She explained it to him and he understood it. "Ben, time for bed." Brock said coming into the room. "Fine." I sighed and hugged Izzy goodnight. "Goodnight Ben." She said hugging me back. "Goodnight." I replied as we pulled away. "Goodnight Lennon." I said hugging him. "Goodnight runt." He said hugging me back. We pulled away after a few seconds and I went to my room. I put on my pyjamas and went to bed.
