Chapter 5

Ben's P.O.V.
Sept 22
It's been three weeks since school started and It's a P.A. Day today so we don't have any school.
I was sleeping when somebody shook me awake.
I opened my eyes to see Lennon.
"What do you want Lennon?" I asked.
"My dad wanted you up. He had to talk to us." He answered.
I nodded and got down from my bed.
Lennon and I walked downstairs and into the living room.
Rae, Izzy, and Brock were already in there and I sat next to Rae.

"So we're moving in two weeks from now. I know you guys have the day off from school today, but can you please try to pack up some of your stuff? It doesn't matter if it's clothes, toys or games. Just pack one box each please." Brock told us.
We nodded and he said "Okay, thank you. I'll be home around four o'clock. Be good."
He walked out the door and I laid down on the couch.
I closed my eyes and not even a minute later, I felt somebody lay on top of me.
I groaned and tried to push them off.
"Get off." I said.
They didn't move and I opened my eyes to find that Lennon was laying on me. No surprise there.
"Lennon, get off." I told him.
He laughed and I said "You're crushing me! Get off!"
He ignored me and I tried to push him off.
After a minute or so, he got off and I sat up.

"That's so going on my Instagram story." He laughed and went on his phone.
I pushed him and he raised his fist at me.
I ran upstairs and to our room.
I laid down on the couch in our room and turned on the tv.
I started watching Spongebob and fell asleep.

Two hours later...

I woke up and looked at my phone to see what time it was. It was 11:30.
"Well look who's finally up." I heard Lennon say as he walked into the room.
"You shouldn't have let me sleep that long." I told him.
"Well, I don't care how long you sleep." He replied.
"Have you talked to Griffin lately?" I asked changing the subject.
"No. Why?" Lennon answered.
"Just wondering. He didn't text me at all yesterday which is weird because he texts me everyday." I replied.
"I know. He texts me everyday too. He's probably busy or something. He has a whole other life at University." Lennon said.
"I'm gonna go play basketball outside." He told me.

I nodded and he walked out of the room.
I watched the rest of my Spongebob episode and then decided to go downstairs.
I walked downstairs and to the kitchen.
Rae and Izzy were in there eating pizza.
"Hey Benji. How did you sleep?" Izzy asked me.
"I slept okay. Thanks for asking." I answered.
"Well that's good, considering the fact that you slept on the couch in your room instead of your bed." He replied.
"Wait, How did you know I fell asleep on the couch?" I asked.
"Lenny put a video of you sleeping on his story." Raelynn answered and showed me.
It was a video of me with the party filter on Instagram.
I sighed and said "Great."
I got myself a piece of pizza and ate it.

"Where'd Lenny go?" Raelynn asked.
"He went outside to play basketball." I answered.
I heard the front door open and Lennon said "Ben, come here."
I sighed and walked out of the room.
As I rounded the corner to the living room somebody jumped out from behind the wall and said "Rah!"
I screamed and fell to the ground.
I looked up to see Griffin and I stood up.
"Griffin!" I exclaimed hugging him.
"Hey buddy." He said hugging me and lifting me off the ground.
"What are you doing here?" I smiled.
"I came to see you. I didn't have any classes today so I wanted to surprise you guys. I'm home for the whole weekend." He told me.

He walked into the kitchen where Izzy and Rae were.
"Griffin's home!" I said to them as Griffin put me down.
"We know." Izzy laughed.
I gave them a confused look and Rae said "He got here half an hour ago."
"Why didn't you wake me up?" I whined.
"We wanted to let you sleep." Izzy replied.
I nodded my head and felt Griffin lift me up from behind.
He walked out of the kitchen and into the living room.

He dropped me on the couch and sat on my legs.
Izzy, Rae and Lennon came into the living room and sat beside us.
"Griffin, watch this." Izzy said and she poked my side.
I laughed and Griffin smirked.
I tried to get away from him but he pinned me down.
He poked my side and I laughed.
He started tickling me everywhere and I burst out laughing.
