As soon as school starts, we learn that we weren't in the same class as each other. I was assigned to class 1-A, while Vic was to be in class 1-B. Of course, I was disappointed about this, but we could always see each at lunch and after school. As I make my way to U.A., I again notice the same boy from before. He must have also passed the exams. He must be the protagonist. Not in this story, though. "Hey, you're that girl who saved me from that robot." The boy said, and came up to me. "Yeah, I'm Noelle. Nice to meet you." I say. "I'm Izuku Midoriya. Nice to finally meet you." He says with a smile. I also smile, and we go to class. We had the same class, so we opened the door together. Upon opening the door, we already see commotion. "Get your feet off the desk! This is school, not your home!" A tall guy in glasses shouts at a blonde kid with Super Saiyan hair. "Heh. What're you, my mom? You can't tell me what to do." The blonde boy says. Lovely. A delinquent and a goodie two shoes. Don't get me wrong, a goodie two shoes isn't that bad, but they do get annoying eventually. Especially the delinquents. They really rub me the wrong way. It seems me and Izuku had the same thoughts about our class, as we look at each, and shake our heads. Behind us, the gravity girl taps our shoulders. "Hey. You two really helped me in the Practical. Thanks. I'm Ochako Uraraka. It's nice to meet you both." She says. "I'm Noelle Tachikazi." I say, and Izuku introduces himself next. The tall guy seemed to notice us, and came over. "Midoriya, correct?" He asked. "Uh, yeah. That's me." Izuku says. "My name is Tenya Iida. Im sorry for what I said to you before. I hope you can forgive me." He says, and bows. "I-It's no problem!" He says nervously. "Come into class. I wish to know how you passed the exam without destroying any of the robots." He said, and the two enter. I enter with Ochako, and sit at my desk. The back. Next to the window. How cliche. Very soon though, the blonde guy goes up to Izuku, and slams his hands on his desk. "Listen up, Deku! I have no idea how you passed the exams, but if you think I'll let you steal my place as the number one Hero, you got another thing coming!" He shouts, calling Izuku "Deku." "Keep quiet." A male entered the classroom. He looked like me. Red hair, one gold eye, and a very similar face structure to mine. "Who's gonna make me?!" The blonde said. "Is that how you speak to your instructor?" The red haired man said. "Sit. Now." She demands, and the blonde sits down in his seat. "Good. Hello class. I am your teacher, Nome Tachikazi." He says. "Tachikazi?!" I freak out, and stand up. He looks over at me, and his expression suddenly darkens. "Oh. You're here." He scowls. "My name is also Tachikazi! Are we-?!" "Sit down." He orders. I follow his demands, and sit back down. "I'm going to be doing roll call. Yuga Aoyama." He calls, and the blonde boy with the bellybutton laser stands up. "Present!" He announces in a fancy way. "Mina Ashido." Nome calls. "Here!" A pink girl stands up and calls. "Katsuki Bakugou." Nome calls, and the other blonde guy with the Super Saiyan hair stands up. "Here." He says, and sits back down. This continues on, and once everyone had their names called, Mr. Nome starts class. "To start things off, we'll be having a fitness test to see where everyone's physical abilities are." He says. "Um, Mr. Nome sir? What about the first year orientation?" Ochako asked. "I don't waste time with stuff like that. C'mon. Everyone out to the field. Get into your P.E. uniforms and meet me at the west field." He says, and leaves the class as we follow him to the locker/changing rooms.
Once we all changed, we meet Mr. Nome at the west field. "Alright. The fitness test is simple. Just do your best at all of the activities. Also, I'll be ranking you depending on how well you do. The person who is ranked last will be getting expelled." He says. Everyone freaks out. "C-Can you do that?!" Ochako asked. "Yes, I can. So try your best." He says, and we start the test. From ball throwing, to running, to sidestepping, he had us do everything I could think of. Of course, since my Quirk isn't combat based, I just used it to see who's going to win the whole thing, and got a little spoiler of what's to come. Since I already knew what was coming, I didn't try very hard. Of course, I did do some things, but I wasn't the best. When the time came for the rankings, me and Izuku were last. Izuku didn't take this very well. "Sorry, Deku..." Ochako said. Apparently she found his insulting nickname cute, and started calling him Deku from now on. "I-It's fine..." He said, clearly not fine. He had such a good ball throw, too. "Are you going to be okay too, Noelle?" My classmate, Mina , asked. "I'll be fine. Don't worry." I say calmly. "No one's getting expelled." Mr. Nome said. The whole class, except me and Yaoyarozu, was shocked to hear this. "You really believed that? What a bunch of children." He adds. "As much as I'd love to send these wastes of space out of the class, I really can't do that unless you do something to deserve it. That was a lie to get you all to do your bests." He says. Wait, did he just call me a waste of space...? "Now then, your first day of class is over. Get changed, and get out." He said, and walked off. I follow him, and try to talk to me. "Um, hey. Mr. Nome?" I asked. He stops, but doesn't look at me. "What?" He asked. "I was just...wondering about something. Are you...my brother?" I ask him. He doesn't talk for a minute, then he does. "Listen, Noelle. I'm only going to tell you this once. Get out of this school." He says, and finally looks at me. "You don't belong here." He adds. "Wh-What do you mean?!" I asked. "This school is for heroes. Not wannabes. No matter what it is, you're destined to fail." He tells me. I was silent, and felt like I was going to cry. "You're clumsy, out of shape, and have no chance to become a Hero. Give up." He continues to talk down on me, but I grit my teeth. "No." I say simply. "What?" He mutters as he hears me. "No, I won't leave! I will become a Hero! I may not be number one, but I can sure as hell try!" I scream at him. He could probably tell I'm serious about this. "And you have a front row seat to seeing me succeed." I say, and walk off home.
