My next opponent is Rom. Since I know her Quirk, I had countermeasures ready for her. For once in this competition I wasn't the first to fight. Is Nome trying to tell everyone I can imagine myself using other Quirks?! Whatever. I can complain later. Right now, I just need to watch the other matches. It was Iida vs. Todoroki, and obviously, Todoroki won. I honestly wasn't surprised by this, as he's been winning left right and center. Once he beats Iida, however, I notice him look over at me. It was an intense glare, but not a threatening one. As soon as they're done, it's Bakugou vs. Tokoyami. You should know who won, so I won't tell you. Moving on, it was now Seven vs. Neptune. Neptune won. Lastly, it was me vs. Rom. It's time to win and move on!
Me and Rom face each other, and she's already preparing shields to block my attacks. I also prepare myself, and imagine myself using a different Quirk. "Begin!" Midnight announced, a few seconds off cue. Since Rom could only summon shields, I unleash a floury of attacks. She managed to block them all, but she was very close to the boundary. I use Nome's Force to give her the final push. Like how Tokoyami beat Yaoyorozu when they fought. "Rom has been forced out of bounds! Noelle Tachikazi is the winner!" Midnight announces. Once again, I can tell Midnight was surprised. I mean, not that I blame her. I'm pretty bewildered myself. This is going well. With that, we both go up to the stands to wait for our next matches.
While I was making my way back to the stands, I see Yaoyorozu leaning her back on the wall. "Hey Momo. What's up?" I asked her, and went up to her. She was clearly in a daze, as she snapped back to reality when I approached. "O-Oh! Noelle. Hello." She says. "You seem distracted. What's wrong?" I asked her again. "I-It's nothing, don't worry about it. So, you made it to the semifinals... That's quite the achievement." She said, changing the subject. "Is it your loss against Tokoyami that's bothering you?" I ask. "No, it's okay. C'mon, let's get back to our class." She said, and walked off. I followed her, as I could already tell the answer was yes.
