A/N: I'm not sorry about the title.
It's time... The day has finally come!! It's time for the sports festival to take place! After my training with Nome, I think I have the Force Quirk down and prepared. I can do this! I am so pumped up! Now to get ready. I prepare myself for the festival, and meet everyone at the locker rooms of the arena. Apparently, my classmates chose to make me speak at the opening ceremony, as Bakugou was most likely going to say something stupid. Not that I blame him, of course. He always thinks of himself and tried his best at everything. He is a strong fighter, that much is for sure. While we were waiting for our turn to be announced, Todoroki went up to speak with Izuku. "Midoriya. I won't lose to you." He says. Everyone was surprised by his statement, and it looked like Izuku was going to say something, but our class was called next, and we all left the waiting room.
After introducing the announcers, Midnight calls me up to give my speech. I step up to the stage, and I could feel the tension. I breathe in, and out. "Firstly, I want to thank all the families that came out to watch us. And all of the viewer at home as well, so thank you. Today, we will bring our absolute best to provide you a good show. Thank you again." I say, and bow. As I step down the stage, I slip, and roll off. The whole place erupted with laughter, and I laugh with them, as it must have been very funny to see. "Alright then! A big thank you to Noelle Tachikazi, for giving that speech. Now then, let the games begin!" Midnight announces, and spins a wheel on a giant screen. It landed on a race. "The obstacle race!" After Midnight explains it, we all get ready. But before that... "Noelle. Let us team up for the race." Vic says to me. "Is that against the rules?" I asked. "Not that I'm aware of. Think about it. We could increase our chances of winning. Most people wouldn't think twice about teaming up with friends, they're too focused on the glory for themselves." She tells me. "Yeah, I guess that's true. Okay, let's do it." I agree to it. Very soon, the race started, and the very first obstacle was the door itself. I used my Quirk to imagine myself using the Force. I lift people into the air, and me and Vic run through the door. However, I put them back down as soon as me and Vic pass them. But it wasn't long until Todoroki explodes the doorway with a blast of icy wind. Me and Vic fly into the air, and I imagine us having ice skates on our feet. They suddenly appear, and we start to skate after him. We see him look back, and his face is quite surprised to see us on ice. He starts to run faster, and we give chase. Behind us was everyone else, especially Bakugou, who was gaining fast. We start to pick up speed, but soon come to a screeching halt. Robots. Remember those robot they made us fight in entrance examine? Yeah. Those things. I see that Todoroki freezes one of them, but it was off balance. "Crap!" I scream, and lift my hand. A large bulge was formed in the robot's face, knocking it away from us. I take Vic's hand, and we skate on.
I'm gonna do a quick time skip. We didn't win, obviously, but we came in a good fourth. Fourth is better last. The next event was a cavalierly battle. Again, I'm going to be doing a time skip. But I can tell you the team. It was me, Vic, Noa (one of Vic's classmates), and Tiga (a classmate with a tiger Quirk). Apparently it was Noa who I saw walk by Vic's house. She could be my long lost twin sister. But she's not. She just so happens to look like me. Anyway, to the time skip.
Afterward, I'm surprised we even won. A group of girls like us, with relatively useless Quirks, actually managed to get this far. Noa really came in handy. Her Quirk, Wish, lets her wish for whatever she wants, and it comes true. So every time someone was close to taking our points, she'd always make them miss their mark. In fact, it's pretty similar to my Quirk, now that I think about it. Now was the really juicy stuff. The tournament time. Nome also gave me some martial arts training, so that was nice. The first round was announced, and I was heartbroken to see who my opponent was.
