Chapter 4: A Hero Test

Today we're having a test. A Hero test. It's simple. Two teams, Heroes and Villains, fight each other. Not to the death, though, of course. As we all draw our numbers, I was paired up with Bakugou, and on the Villain team. Lovely. I would've been fine if I was paired with Iida, but it just had to be Bakugou! He snarls at me, and I snarl back. "Listen up, Trippy. I'm gonna kill Deku, so don't get in my way." He says. "We're not killing anyone. We just need to guard something for five minutes." I say. He growls, and he walks off. Oh, I suppose I should explain my Hero suit. It's nothing too flashy, just a vest with a strap over my small breasts. I had a pair of short shorts that stop just below my butt. I also have an thermal image visor on my head, to give myself a bit more of an advantage. This way, I can track opponents without having to use my Quirk. Also, I made that visor myself. As we enter the building, I decided to place the weapon on the bottom floor, where they won't expect it. They never said we couldn't cover it, so I throw a large sheet over it. They definitely won't expect this. "Okay, Bakugou. I'm going to hide up top, where they think the weapon will be. Do whatever you want, just don't blow that sheet off the weapon." I tell him. "Yeah, yeah, whatever." He said. He totally dismissed what I just said! "I'll provide back-" "Stay outta this. This is my fight." He says. "You can't be serious! We have to work together, that's the whole point of this test!" I shout. "Just shut up!!" He shouts back, and threats to hit me, but doesn't. "Listen, you deal with Gravity Girl, I'll kill Deku. That's it." He says, and walks off, as the test now starts with the Heroes entering the building. I make my way to the top floor, and sit down. "Hmph. That damn Super Saiyan hot tempered brat...! Why can't he just get over himself...!" I mutter as I sit down.

The whole time, all I hear are explosions and Bakugou shouting "DEKU!!!!" over and over again. Is that his battle cry, or something. I bring my thermal visor down to check where Ochako is, and see that she's on her way up. I immediately get my villain persona on, and grin. Ochako arrived, all battle ready. "Welcome, Ochako Uraraka." I say. "Where's the weapon?!" She asked. I shrug. "Who knows? It could be here, or it could it there. Or it could be anywhere! Aahahahaha!" I do the best Villain laugh I could think of, and she seemed to like it, but only for a short time. She gets her battle face on, but realizes something. "Wait... If the weapon isn't here, it must be on the floors below!" She says, and run the other way. "Hey! Wait! Get back here!" I run after her. Again, something happened. She suddenly stops, and falls over, asleep. Did I do that? Without time to think, Izuku comes blasting through the wall. He flys into me, and I catch him. "C'mon, Deku! Is that all you got?!" Bakugou asks. Izuku gets up, and sees Ochako asleep, and attempts to rush past Bakugou, but gets blasted down again. He gets up again, and the two charge at each other. "SMASH!!!" Izuku screams, and Bakugou readies another massive explosion. In a twist, Izuku doesn't hit Bakugou, but aims his strike at the floor. A hole opens below him, and he falls to the lower level. "Oh no!" I scream, and look down to where he was, but he was already on the weapon I was hiding. "DAMMIT DEKU!!!!" Bakugou shouts, and was about to go down after him, but I hold him. "Enough! We already failed!" I shout at him. "Shut up!! I'm gonna kill him!!" He shouts back, and struggles. All Might, our teacher for the day, came in, and patted us both. "You both did good. Though you failed the mission as Villains, you passed the test as students." He tells us. Bakugou calms down, and stops struggling. "Let me go Noelle..." He says, calling me by name for the first time. I nod, and let him go. He leaves with All Might, and I follow them, dragging Ochako with me.

Once the test was over, and everyone gets a turn, we all go back. I see Izuku and Bakugou, and Bakugou was actually...crying? No way. I couldn't believe it. Vic comes to me, but I tell her "Not today." and go down to Bakugou. Maybe he needs some help? "Hey! Bakugou!" I call him, and he turns. I run up to him, but trip on my foot, and fall face first. He just stares for a moment, and I get up. "Sorry. Trippy." I say. "What do you want, Noelle?" He asked. "I'm gonna escort you home." I say. "If you're gonna try cheer me up, don't bother. I just need some time alone." He says, and continues to walk. I follow him anyway.
