The next Morning

"Good morning, sunshine" says Hayley as I wake up. "You like coffee?"

"Yeah," I say. "my head is pounding."

"I'm sure it is. I got you," says Hayley handing me 3 pills. "Take those it will help."

"Why are you up so early?" I ask.

"I was doing some research and calling some people." says Hayley.

"I really appreciate this." I say.

"Its cool, I just wanna help." says Hayley.

"Did you find anything out?" I say.

"Yes and I'm going to go check it out now," says Hayley. "while you relax and get your head together."

"I can't relax" I say.

"The girl you were talking to on the phone last night said she would be here today" says Hayley.

"What??" I say grabbing my phone.

"She called you, lil baby" laughs Hayley.

"Alina?" I say smiling a little.

"Yeah, we have to go get her from the airport" says Hayley. "You have like 20 minutes before we have to leave"

"Ok, I'll get dressed" I say.

"Is this like... why you haven't asked Demi to be your girlfriend?" asks Hayley. "Is this your girlfriend?"

"What? No." I say. "Alina is Demi's best friend."

"Oh ok, I thought you were about to bring some drama here and I can't have that." says Hayley.

"Sure but you scam people." I say putting my pants on. "Why are my pants off?"

"Because sleeping in jeans is weird" says Hayley.

"I guess" I say.

"And we kind of... You know.." says Hayley.

"Fuck..." I say.

"I'm just joking, chill out." says Hayley.

"Don't play about that," I say. "I would feel terrible."

"Ok I'm sorry," says Hayley. "I'll let you finish getting dressed. I'll be in the living room."

I don't remember talking to Alina at all. I was pretty tore up last night. I freshened up in the bathroom and finished getting dressed. I just hope she is ok. She's known Demi longer and been through a lot with her.

At the Airport

We sit by the car and wait for Alina to come out.

"So you're not banging this chick?" says Hayley with her back against the car door.

"No, I am not banging this chick" I say. "Oh there she goes."

"Damn! Remind me why aren't you banging her?" asks Hayley pushing her sunglasses down to get a better look at Alina.

"Because she's Demi's best friend." I say. "You stay here, I'll help her with her bags."

"Little baby" says Alina with a soft smile.

"How was your flight?" I ask giving her a hug.

"Amazing, it was like I had my own little room." says Alina as I grab one of her bags.

"The girl by the car is my friend Hayley" I say. "She is also a scammer and a very good one... she won't do anything to us, I wouldn't be too flashy though."
