After a long day of walking, Drake and Grayson finally came up to the entrance of Poaltin. Did I mention Poaltin was a very large city? You could easily get lost if you end up in a crowded area.
"Well, we're here Drake" Grayson whistled as he strolled up to the main gate, but then stopped abruptly. "..um... where are we actually going?" Grayson turned around and faced Drake.
"To the magi council.. where else..." Drake walked past Grayson and entered the front gates, Grayson following right behind him.
After a few turns here and there, asking a few locals for directions, they found it. The magi school where the magi council were. They swiftly entered the building and got special passes from the front desk to be able to go in the restricted sections.
As they ventured through the bustling hallways they were given glares and people whispered about them. Huh. Must have something to do with the restricted access passes they have around their necks.
Finally they came up to a door, someone was waiting for them. She was clearly a council Member, due to her robes being different from the teachers and the students. She greeted Grayson and Drake with a smile.
"Hi, welcome to the magi school Drake and Grayson! We have been expecting you! Oh how rude of me I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Lily, I am the most recent member of the magi council. Please come in!" She raises her hand and the door behind her magically unlocks and opens, revealing a rather large table with a fireplace behind the very end of the table, Three people were already sitting there.
"Please take a seat while I go gather the rest of the council so we can begin on our discussion" One of the other council members raised his hand.
"Lily, our guests have been venturing a long time, they should rest before we ask them to do some very important tasks for us.." his brown hair hung in front of the bandages over his right eye, his left purple eye stared Lily down in a calm way.
"Oh right how silly of me!" She laughed a little bit, her poofy hair bounced in front of her face. "Never mind about taking a seat guys! Follow me and I can take you to an inn, our dorms are pretty full at the moment but the inn is not too far away!" Grayson and Drake nod and follow her out of the school.
"..hey.. Lily, was it? Do you know what this incident is really about?" Drake asked cautiously.
"Mhm! I know every little detail about it! Though I'm not gonna spoil it~" she giggled, something about her laugh.. was.. intoxicating... it slightly made Drake uncomfortable but yet he wanted her to continue laughing, he thought it was sweet...
"Here we are!" And they were now outside of what looked like a large hotel building. "I've already got your rooms rented, here's the keys" She plopped a key in both Grayson and Drake's hands. "If you have any questions or complications, just talk to the lady at the front desk in the school, she'll get in contact with me then i can come help you if you need it. Well, Goodbye now~" and just like that, she disappeared in a puff of pink smoke.
"Shall we head to our rooms Drake?"
"Yes.. I'm getting tired..."
And with that they are now settling in their hotel room, after meeting two of the council members, preparing for tomorrow.
