Chapter 27

Lauren's POV:
My mom called me and said that they just got home. I told the Cabello's I had to leave but I'll be back. I left and went home. I pulled in the driveway and walked in the house. "Guys I'm home." I said. I saw them all rush towards me and pull me into a big hug. "We missed you" "I missed you guys too" They told me about their trip and I told them about my tour. They made plans for the whole family to do this week and the next. "Guys I have to go to the Cabello's in a few days. I can't go to some of the activities." I told them. "Yes you are. We need to have some family time. You're not gonna go to the Cabello's until it's time for you to go back on tour." "Guys you can't do that to me. I have to go to the Cabello's. I told them I'd be back." "Well too bad. Tell them you already have plans." "No I have to go to them before I leave to go back on tour." "And you can. On the day you leave to go back" "What I'm not doing that. I have to see my girlfriend and her family before I leave to go back." "No." I just went up to my room and shut the door and locked it. I grabbed a bag and put clothes in it that will last me a few weeks. I looked out the window and saw that I could climb out my window and jump down from the roof and go to the Cabello's house. I made sure I had everything I needed before I went out the window. I unlocked my door and grabbed the bags and went on the roof and jumped down. I ran to the Cabello's and when I made it to their house I sat on the curb to rest. I texted Camila and asked if I could stay at her place until I left. She texted back saying I could. I told her that I was outside. I heard the door open and someone sit next to me and lay their head on my shoulder. "Babe." "Hmm" "aren't you supposed to be hanging out with your family" "Yeah I should but" I sighed. "But what" she said as she rubbed my hand with her thumb. "They wouldn't let me see you guys until I left to go back on tour" "that's unfair of them to do that." "It was. I didn't want to do that." I told her. She got up and grabbed my bags and went in the house. She came back and helped me get up and led me to her room. "Let's just watch some movies on my laptop." "Ok" She grabbed her laptop and brought it back to the bed. I laid down next to her. She let me pick the movie and I picked one that was scary but not too scary. "Oh my god. Why'd you choose a scary one. You know I hate scary movies." She said. "It's not that scary." I said. While we watched the movie she was cuddled up with me. Every time a scary part happened she would just look away and get closer to me. She ended up falling asleep on me halfway through the second movie and I put the laptop on the dresser. I pulled the blanket over the both of us and fell asleep.
