Chapter 33

Lauren's POV:
I finished making the food and made a plate for Camila and brought it upstairs to her room. I opened the door and saw her still asleep cuddling the pillow I sleep on. I put the food on the dresser and went over to her. "Babe wake up." I heard her mumble something. I started to shake her shoulder lightly to wake her up but that didn't work. I then straddled her waist and began kissing her neck. I heard her moan and when I pulled back I saw she was waking up. "Come on babe. Wake up" she wouldn't open her eyes. "Camz wake up. I made you some food." After I told her that she opened her eyes and smiled at me. I leaned down and pecked her lips. I helped her sit up and gave her her food. She started eating it while feeding me some too. "That was good." She said and kissed my cheek. She then kissed my lips and we started having a make out session but got interrupted with someone knocking on the door downstairs. "Oh my god. Why does someone always interrupt us." She sighed and fell back down on the bed. She got up and went downstairs to see who was there. I just laid down. I heard her open the door and I heard them start talking. "Lauren!" She called. I got up and made my way done to where she was and saw Chris with tear stained cheeks and some scratches and bruises on him. "Oh my god Chris. What happened?" I asked as I rushed him in and got the first aid kit and helped clean up his scratches. "Mom hit me but then one of your friends came over and heard what happened and they waited for my parents to leave me alone. Then they came over to me and beat the shit out of me." He said. "Wait my friend. Which one?" I asked as I put bandaids on his cuts. "I don't know her name. But she's tall and really strong. She talked about how no one hurts her best friend and talked about a Poly-" "Woah wait a second. A poly beat down?" Camila asked him. "Yeah why" He asked confused. She started muttering things under her breath. She left the room and came back dressed with her keys,phone, and wallet. "Wait. Where are you going Camz?" I asked. "I'm going to deal with my friend. You may have done something bad to me but you're still my friend and no one hurts my friends." She said and came over and gave Chris a hug. She gave me a hug and kissed my lips before leaving. I heard her pull out of the driveway and leave. "Wow sis. She's a keeper." "Yeah she is" I said and sat next to him. "She's a very forgiving person after what I did. There's not a lot of people like that." "There isn't. She just forgives and forgets. She's beautiful, talented, smart,kind, just everything that I've ever wanted. She's perfect to me even though she doesn't see how. She's the one I want to spend forever with." I said as I thought about her. The way she smiles and the way she scrunches up her nose. "Wow. You really love her don't you" "Yeah I do" "I want someone to look at me the way Camila looks at you like you're her whole world." "She looks at me like that?" "Yeah she does" We just continued to talk and I was waiting for Camila to come back so we can figure what to do about Chris. "Chris why'd you come over here?" I asked him while we sat down in the living room. "I was gonna ask I fi could stay here for a while but I'll have to ask Camila's parents first. I just want to stay until I get a job and find a place to stay." He said. "I have a place where you can stay until you get a job and a place to stay at" I told him. "Really? Where?" He said as his face lit up. "It's my apartment that I have here that nobody knows about. You can stay there until you find a place ok. But you can't invite anyone over there or have parties. Make sure you keep it clean" I told him. "Ok. I won't do that. I won't tell anyone about your apartment"
"Ok. But you can go there tomorrow. You can here just for tonight" I told him and he just nodded. I wrote down the address and a key and gave it to him. "Don't tell anyone about it. I'm trusting you to not to. Here's the key, don't lose it. This is the only one I have ok." I said and I gave him the key and he put it on his keychain so he won't lose it.
