I got writers block kinda but I wanted to write the story even though it's like 11:00 pm, so here we are. Heheheh.... I'm sorry kill me.
In the middle of the night, Amy felt really, really hungry. She hadn't eaten in days and she wanted that pop tart. She got out of bed and went to the kitchen. She looked everywhere and couldn't find it.
She heard a door open, she knew it was Shadow, but it scared her a bit. After a minute, he didn't come out. She grabbed a knife for protection, just in case there was something there. She turned around and something with red eyes was standing there. She screamed and fell back. She threw the knife but she missed.
"Get away from me monster!" Amy screamed. The lights turned on.
She saw Shadow standing in front of her.
"Shadow?" Amy asked. She got up and Shadow was there crossing his arms.
"What are you doing up this late at night? I should be mad but since I-" He was interrupted by a punch in the face.
"Shadow you jerk! Scared me! Why didn't you say anything?!" Amy yelled.
"I wanted to see what you would do." She said. "You idiot! I almost killed you!"
There was a long silence.
"By the way, why did you change your outfit?" Shadow asked.
"Because all you gave me was fancy princess gowns and I wanted something lighter and more comfy. So I made my own, besides, my old dress was getting small." Amy explained.
"Oh, and another thing. Sorry for treated you all... girly. I just thought that you were that kind of girl." Shadow said.
"Well you were wrong." She said getting a little frustrated.
"Rose I said I was sorry. I didn't know you that well. From the outside you seem like that kind of girl. A lovesick, stalker, that really likes pink, who hugs everyone who she thinks is Sonic and-" "Shut up Shadow!" Amy yelled.
She tried not to cry.
"So that's who I am? Just the girly girl who loves Sonic? Nothing more? I wanted to be a fighter, a strong independent girl, someone who is capable of protecting themselves. At least that's what I wanted Sonic to think. I'm going back to bed." Amy said.
She walked back to her room and jumped on her bed hugging her pillow. She saw the box of pop tarts on the ground and ate them. After she finished the box, she went back to sleep. The next morning, there was a knock on her door.
She woke up and went to go answer it. She opened the door, Shadow was there with his hands behind his back.
"What do you want Shadow?" Amy asked.
"I'm... sorry for last night. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. That's not who you are, it's who I thought you were. I barely knew you. So... to make up for it, I bought made these last night." Shadow said giving her a box.
She opened it to find chocolate chip cookies.
"Shadow... I love these! Thank you so much!" She said.
Shadow was about to go to his room when Amy said, "Wait Shadow."
He turned around and looked at her.
