Chapter One ~ First Day

Beep...Beep...Beep

"Will you shut the fuck up?" I ask as I stop the alarm. I dragged myself off of my bed being careful to not hurt my tail and ears in the process and I slowly walked to the bathroom. Today was my first day at Ouran High School and I was not having it at all, I used the toilet, brushed my teeth and took a warm shower, I should probably wear my hoodie today, I don't want my ears showing.

I get out of the shower with a towel around my waist and I dry my hair, being careful around my ears. Then I headed to my closet to pick out my outfit which was just a white t-shirt and a black hoodie with some black skinny jeans, I wrapped my tail around my waist and just ruffled up my hair under the hoodie to make it seem like it was ruffled and I headed out. The school was about a 30-minute walk from my house so I got there in time for the doors to be opened. I immediately say the pink walls and I was... surprised I guess not a bad surprise just a... surprise. The next thing that caught my eye was the fact that the females were wearing light yellow dresses, they look like pastel bananas. Everyone was looking at me weirdly, my hood kinda covered my face so that must be it. I walked up to a girl and tilted my hood so she would see my face, I fake blushed a bit and asked, "Could you please take me to the Main Office?" She and other girls around her blushed and squealed as she said, "O-of course" She took my hand and led me to the office and I bowed a bit and told her "T-thanks" She squealed again and quickly said, "Y-you're w-welcome!"

 I entered the office and pulled my hoodie back down. I saw the secretary and politely asked her "Miss? Could I please get my schedule, my name is Hara Asahi (Last name first)." She glanced at me for a second then printed my schedule and handed it to me it had some normal things on it then it had what I think is a room number, it's 1-A huh, okay.

I left the office and looked around in the pink hallway the bell already rang and I saw a map, I followed it and it led to my class with a header that said '1-A'. I knocked on the sliding door and there was a bit of shuffling inside before saying "Come in!" I slid the door and was welcomed with students looking me up and down and a female teacher saying, "I'm guessing you're Hara Asahi?" I respond by saying a small, "Y-yeah" she said quickly, "Come and introduce yourself then" I walked up next to her little podium, opened my hood a bit so people could see me and said, "I'm Hara Asahi, p-please take care of me" I blushed and looked at the ground. In a few seconds, I looked up and I saw girls and a few boys blushing and I think I saw one girl nosebleed. "Any questions for Asahi?" The teacher asked and at least 10 hands went up, the questions went along the lines of,

"Are you single?"

"Are you going to join the Host Club" That was one that was asked a few times

"Will you love me?"

After answering the questions I asked the teacher, "Where do I sit, miss?"

She called out for a Haruhi Fujioka, the girl in a boys uniform raised her hand and I sat next to her, at a window seat and I whispered to Haruhi slightly tugging her sleeve, "How'd you get out of wearing those banana dresses?". She froze and looked at the attractive orange-heads behind her when she gave them a look they looked at me with slightly wide eyes. I just looked forward to seeing what the teacher was teaching and I already knew the topic she was teaching so I looked out the window and put my head in my arms and slept silently.

I woke up when someone tapped my hoodie, I rubbed my eyes and looked at the culprit, It was Haruhi, "Class is over, it's lunch, you slept a few periods" she said softly.

"Thank you for waking me up Haruhi" 

I went to stand up but she tugged me down a bit, "Don't worry, you'll be fine" I was confused for a bit before I was lifted up, I started struggling and squirming. I was let down and then immediately dragged by my arms, I could tell it was by two people. I decided to just relax, I didn't get much sleep so it would take too much energy to struggle.

We came to a sudden stop and I was just chatting with Haruhi while I was being dragged. I was pulled up to my feet and I saw orange hair for a second before I was blindfolded, I heard hushed whispering before I was sat in a chair and my blindfold was taken off. I saw really bright lights and a silhouette of a guy. My eyes slowly got used to the light and I saw a guy with blond hair and purple eyes with Haruhi and the twins in the sea of males. "Haruhi, any idea why I'm here?"

I asked and she just responded by putting a finger to her mouth, probably telling me to be quiet.

The male in front of me asked, "How do you know about my daughter's secret!?" The person behind him with raven hair and glasses told the blond, "Tamaki, calm down" I thought it was a perfect time to talk so I told a little lie, "Daughter? I thought Haruhi was a guy but...he's a she?". 

Tamaki froze for a second so I thought it was a perfect time to strike, "I'm just joking around, I knew Haruhi was a girl, it's pretty obvious." 

No one said anything so I got out of the comfortable chair and slowly walked to the door but Tamaki stopped me by saying, "Y-you can't tell Haruhi secret." 

I responded by saying, "Why not?"

 I felt a rush of air over me and I saw I was in the twins arms, "Wait, why are you wearing a hoodie indoors?" They asked. 

I responded by saying, "N-no reason"

 A person with blond hair came up to me and asked, " What are you hiding, Asa-chan?"

 "I'm not hiding anything and how do you know my name?" I asked. 

"You're the new student, everyone knows your name." He said. 

I then I felt something or someone touching my hood, "P-please stop" I begged. 

That wasn't enough though and I had my hoodie pulled down, set down and, my cat ears sprung up. "Look at Asa-chan, he has kitty ears!" I heard a childish voice say. 

The guy with the Raven hair and glasses said,"If you don't want your secret spilled, it might be wise to join our host club."

I then asked, "Host Club?".

 Tamaki smiled a bit before coming up to me, tilting my head and saying,"Yes, Kitten, The Ouran Host Club is where the school's most handsome boys with too much time on their hands entertain young ladies who also have way too much time on their hands."

I blushed and tilted my head away my cat ears twitching, "At least tell me your names..."
