Chapter 22 Boy troubles

Courtney went to school the next day to find Kookie there she had orange hair and red eyes and she was wearing the school uniform "what are you doing here?" said Courtney walking up to Kookie.

"Oh I decided to join school, it will help me understand more about earth" replied Kookie.

"Ok but just be careful what you say" said Courtney walking into the class room.

"Who's that?" said Kookie looking at a boy in the class room he had black hair and green eyes.

"That's Cray" said Courtney.

After classes Courtney, Sammy and Kookie sat down for dinner "hey Courtney" said Cray walking over to them.

"Hey Cray" said Courtney.

"Who's your new friend?" Cray said sitting down at there table.

"I'm Kookie".

"Well nice to meet you Kookie" said Cray smiling at Kookie, Courtney's face then turned bright red.

"Courtney why's your face red?" said Sammy poking Courtney cheek.

"N-no it's not" said Courtney standing up and leaving.

After school Courtney then went to work "what's wrong with Courtney?" Asked Bridget, Courtney was brushing up outside and day dreaming.

"Courtney is something the matter" said Zoey.

"Oh nothing" said Courtney smiling.

Before Courtney's shift ended Elliot came into the room and said "girls we need you to look for mew aqua at the docks".

"Seriously" said Courtney.

"Yes seriously" Elliot said coldly.

They all then went to the docks and spilt up Courtney then sat down on a bench nearby and thought about her dad.

"Mum when's dad getting home?" Asked Courtney she was only 11 at the time.

"Soon honey I promise" said Courtney's mum, Courtney then sat down at the table, her mum placed her tea in front of her.

"I'm not eating until dad gets home" said Courtney pushing her meal away.

"He'll be here soon so you can eat" said Courtney's mum pushing the tea in front of her again.

"Rose slow down if you eat that fast you'll get a tummy ache" said Courtney's mum.

"Ok mummy" said Rose slowing down the phone then rang.

"That's probably your dad saying he's round the corner so you can eat Courtney" said Courtney's mum picking up the phone Courtney then started to eat her dinner.

Her mum then placed the phone down and fell to the floor and started to cry "what's wrong mum?" Asked Courtney rushing over to her mum.

"It's its *sob* your father" said her mum.

"What's happened" said Rose walking up to them.

"Your dad's been in a terrible accident" said her mum.

"Is he going to be ok" said Courtney worriedly.

"Aww sweety dads in a better place now" said her mum crying.

Courtney then shed a tear and whisper "dad" suddenly her body started to glow she then opened one of the crates to find a beautiful necklace in was covered in hay Courtney then picked up the necklace and heard a voice behind her.

"Thanks for finding the mew aqua for us" she turned around to find Sardon and Tarb.

"Now hand it over" said Sardon.

"No!" Shouted Courtney clutching the necklace tighter she then felt someone grab her waist she then turned around to find Dren, Courtney then pushed him away he then tried to grab the necklace but Courtney transformed and jumped into the air.

"Courtney!" Shouted Kiki all the mew mews then came running over to Courtney.

"Guys I found the mew aqua" said Courtney running over to them but Dren grabbed her arm.

"Hey let go" she said.

"Not until you give me the mew aqua" he said.

"Never, guys catch" said Courtney throwing the necklace to the mews.

"I got it" said Kiki jumping in the air.

"No you've not" said Tarb the then clashed in the middle.

"Oww" they said in unison.

"I've got it" said Bridget grabbing the necklace Sardon then ran after Bridget.

"Ahhh" shouted Bridget throwing the necklace into the air Courtney then broke out of Dren's grasp, she then ran for the necklace but she tripped and fell.

"Ahh" she shouted the necklace then dropped into Courtney's mouth and she swallowed it.

"Oww" said Courtney holding her neck.

"What she swallowed it!" Shouted Sardon.

"Ha now you can't get it" said Courtney standing up.

"Oh yes we can" said Dren grappling Courtney.

"Let her go" said Kookie hitting Dren he then let go of Courtney from the shock.

"We will be back" said Sardon leaving then Tarb and Dren went after him.

They then all went back to the cafe and told westly and Elliot what had happened "she swallowed it!" Shouted Westly and Elliot.

"Yeah" said Kiki laughing.

"Hey it's not funny it really hurt my throat" said Courtney pouting.

"So what are we gonna do about it" said Zoey.

"Errrr well there's 2 choices" said Westly blushing.

"There's the option of cutting it out or letting it pash through" he continued in embarrassment.

"I'll take option 2 thanks I'm not being cut open" said Courtney turning around.

"Just make sure you wash it before giving it us" said Elliot coldly.

The next day Courtney recovered the necklace and washed it she then put it into a box and gave it to Westly when she went into work, she finished her shifts and was walking home she then noticed Kookie talking to Cray her face then went bright red she then stomped down the street and bumped into Renee "oh sorry Renee" said Courtney.

"I see you're jealous of Kookie and that boy" she said.

"What I'm not jealous" said Courtney.

"Yes you are" said Renee.

"Ok maybe a little" replied Courtney.

"So why are you jealous?" said Renee.

"Well it's hard to see that he's my childhood friend and watching him grow up it feels like I'm losing a friend" said Courtney looking down at the ground.

"You should be happy he's growing up because you'll always have the memory's with you" she said.

"Yeah he's my friend I should be happy thanks Renee" said Courtney.

"You're welcome" said Renee.

Courtney then went home and went to bed the next day Courtney went to work and finished her shifts she then walked home and saw Dren sitting on a bench looking up at the sky "hey" said Courtney sitting next to him.

"Oh hi, I wanted to ask you something" he said looking at Courtney.
