Chapter 26 The sequel

The tear then seeped into Courtney's skin and a bright glow lit her body she then was lifted up into the air and then was placed down on the ground her hair, ears and tail had grown back and turned black, her top, skort and boots were also black, she then stood up and opened her eyes they were now red.

"Courtney" said Dren as he walked up to her but she summoned her weapon and hit Dren making him fall to the ground.

"No one touches me!" Said Courtney angrily.

"But Courtney" started Kiki.

"I'm no longer the Courtney you know and love" said Courtney she then conjured red and black fire around her, when the fire deceased Courtney was no longer there.

"What did you do to her" said Zoey storming up to Dren.

"Nothing I didn't do anything" said Dren insistently.

"They why is she all dress in black and attacking us!" Screamed Zoey.

"I dunno" said Dren he then disappeared.

Everyone then went to the cafe and discussed what happened to Courtney and how to get her back, Dren then appeared above them "what are you doing here" said Rose.

"What's it look like I've come to help get my girlfriend back" he replied.

"Your girlfriend" said a the few people who didn't knew Courtney and Dren were dating.

"Yeah my girlfriend" said Dren sheepishly, the next day Sardon and Tarb had created predists all over the city the mew mews then arrived at the scene to find the predisits as well as Courtney making a mess.

"Courtney!" Shouted Zoey Courtney then spun around and said "oh look it's the rodents, I knew I should have lay some traps" she then started to attack the mews they all then dodged her attacks and created a circle around her they then pointed her weapons at her and Courtney then started to hold her head in pain.

"Ahhhhhh!" screamed Courtney as she turned back into her normal transformation, she then started to fall to the ground but dren managed to catch her at the last minute, they then took the unconscious Courtney back to the cafe.

"When's she gonna wake up" said Kiki looking at Courtney.

"Soon" replied Elliot coldly, Courtney's eyes then started to flicker then they burst wide open reviling golden iris.

"Why are her eyes a different colour" said Rose worriedly.

"I dunno" said Elliot.

"What happened" said Courtney stretching her arms.

"Don't you remember" said Zoey.

"The last thing I was doing was jumping in between Dren and deep blue" said Courtney they then explained everything to Courtney, as soon as they had finished she ran to the closes mirror.

"Ahhh my eyes are golden" said Courtney looking at her eyes

"Yeah why is that" said Kiki everyone then shrugged there shoulders to say 'I dunno' an unhappy Courtney then stomped home with rose and went straight to bed.

The next day Courtney strutted around her room to try and solve why her eyes had changed colour "honey why are you getting so paranoid" said Courtney's mum.

"Because I'm freaking out, my eyes are suppose to be brown not gold" shouted Courtney.

"Peoples eyes change all the time" said her mum.

"I'm sorry mum but it's really getting on my nerves" said Courtney flopping down on her bed.

"I'll go and make you a nice cup of tea then to calm you down" said Courtney mum leaving the room.

"Hey sugar" said a voice putting there hand on Courtney's shoulder she then looked up to find Dren sitting beside her but she just shoved her head back into her pillow.

"What's the matter foxy" said Dren.

"Look!" Said Courtney sitting up and pointing to her eyes.

"There just like mine" said Dren smiling.

"Yeah but why!?!" Replied Courtney.

"I have no idea" said Dren.

"Sorry it just really irritating me" said Courtney.

"It's fine" said Dren they then hugged each other.

"Thanks for being there for me" said Courtney snuggling into Dren's chest.

"It's my job to be here" replied Dren.

The next day Courtney was at work she had to rush to get the next order from the counter, Renee was of due to a movie she was performing in, Zoey was on a date with mark, Bridget had book club, Katie was sick, Sammy was dodging work, Rose was in an after school club, Kookie was out with Cray, Kiki had to go and pick up her sister from daycare and Corina was just sitting on her lazy bum drinking tea.

"Aren't you gonna help" said Courtney trying to contain her anger.

"Ok I will" said Corina putting down her tea.

"Thank you" said Courtney, Corina then picked up a salt shaker and moved it into a pot in the middle of the table she then started to drink her tea again.

"That was hard work I need a break" she said.

"You only moved 1 little thing!" Shouted Courtney.

"Taking another break are we Courtney" said Elliot walking past.

"Break break I've not took a break all day if there was an award for not working and taking breaks Corina would win it!" Shouted Courtney.

After work an angry Courtney dragged her exhausted body home with Rose, a predisit then came charging towards them knocking both if them onto the floor.

"Power pendant mewtsmorphosis" said Courtney and Rose transforming they then attacked the predisit and it turned into its weaker state, when Courtney got in to her room she collapsed onto bed and fell asleep. (/)
