Chapter 23 Never the same

"You what!" Shouted Courtney standing up.

"I want you to come with me away from this fighting away from everything it will just be us" said Dren getting closer to Courtney.

"I'd love to but I can't leave my family and friends behind" said Courtney.

"Well if you won't come voluntarily then I'll have to take you by force" said Dren he then took Courtney's hand and tried to fly away but Courtney dug her feet into the ground.

"Come on you're coming" he said pulling Courtney arm.

"I can't" said Courtney grabbing onto a tree branch near by with her free hand.

"You dare deify me" hissed Dren.

"I'm sorry but I can't leave" said Courtney pulling her hand away from Dren.

"You are coming!" He shouted he then picked up Courtney by the waist and threw her over his shoulder.

"Hey put me down" said Courtney kick and punching Dren but he didn't let go.

"I'm not giving up so you might as well come with me without fighting" he said he then flew into the air and transported on the top of an abandon building.

"Where are we?" said Courtney looking over the edge her ears and tail popped out from see how high they were she then jumped back into Dren's arms, she then quickly picked herself back up and tried to pat her ears down but then she felt Dren's hands on her head, she then started to blush.

"It's nice up here huh" he said smiling at Courtney.

"Yeah" replied Courtney closing her eyes to feel the wind in her hair she then opened her eyes to find the sun setting.

"It's beautiful, I've never actually seen a sunset before I've always been to busy to look at it" said Courtney smiling at the sunset she then leaned on a barrier at the end of the building Dren then came beside her and put his arm over her shoulder.

The sun then set and it went dark, Courtney then lay on her back and looked up at the stars "what are you doing?" Asked Dren looking at Courtney puzzled.

"Come here" said Courtney she then grabbed Dren's hand and pulled him to the ground.

"Can you see all the constellations" said Courtney pointing at the stars.

"Where?" Asked Dren.

"Here see, look there's the Big Dipper and Orion" replied Courtney.

Courtney then stood up and said "I'll have to go".

"I told you your staying with me" said Dren blocking her path.

"But my mums going to be worried sick" said Courtney going around him.

"Fine I'll make you a deal we will fight if I win you stay here if you win you can go" said Dren.

"Hmmm deal" said Courtney.

She then transformed and said "fire sword" Dren then summoned 2 dragon swords, they kept fighting until they heard the mew mews behind them.

"Courtney what's happening Elliot told us you transformed so we're here to help" said Bridget.

"Oh guys it's fine nothing to worry about" said Courtney smiling at them.

"So why are you fighting" said Zoey.

"No reason" said Dren looking away and blushing.

"Errmm" said everyone awkwardly.

"Well we will be going then" said Corina they then all left.

"Well that was weird" said Dren.

"Yeah" said Courtney.

"Let's continue" said Dren they then carried on fighting.

Courtney then tripped over a pipe and fell over Dren then stood over Courtney and put the swords on her neck.

"I win" said Dren laughing.

"Not yet" said Courtney kicking Dren of her they carried on fighting until Courtney was cornered.

"I win again" said Dren pointing his sword at Courtney.

"Fine I give in a deals a deal" said Courtney putting her hands in the air.

"Seriously your coming just like that" said Dren surprised.

"Yeah a deals a deal and I made a promise" said Courtney.

"Yes finally" said Dren jumping in the air in victory.

Then Courtney said "but".

"But what" said dren placing his feet back on the floor.

"I will need to tell my mum that I'm going on holiday or something and I would need to pack my things" she said.

"Ok then I'll give you till 7pm tomorrow" he said.

Dren then took Courtney back home, the next day Courtney lied to her mum that she had won a ticket to go to France her mum said no at first but she then gave in she told Courtney to be safe and ring her every night, Courtney then packed her stuff and went to the cafe and told them about the ticket, she then went back home and waited until 7pm for Dren to come.

"I'm here" said Dren appearing in Courtney's room he then looked at Courtney's suit case.

"You're seriously coming aren't you" said Dren.

"Of course I've never been more serious" said Courtney smiling at Dren.

"Well let's get going then" said Dren picking the suit case up.

"Have you packed your hold house in here!" Said Dren falling to the ground.

"Oh come on it's not that heavy" said Courtney taking the suit case off Dren she then grabbed Roxy and mini berry and said goodbye to her mum, she then went outside to find Dren and the mew mews.

"Oh no" said Courtney backing away.

"Courtney you're going with him" shouted Zoey.

"Errm well about that" said Courtney blushing and scratching her head. (/)
