Ja'Nesha's POV
I woke up the next morning in a bed by myself. Ty hadn't came home last night. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know if I needed to call the police or what. God, I just hoped that Ty was alright.
As soon as I got out of bed, I ate breakfast then went and got in the shower. When I got out of the shower I made up the bed and began to read. I couldn't find my contacts so I had to wear my glasses. I could barely focus on the book because I was so worried about Ty. It was 10:56 and he still hadn't come home.
About two hours later, I heard the front door close. It was Ty. I didn't know whether I should've happy or upset.
He walked into the bedroom.
"Ty, where have you been? Kiara and I have been worried sick about you and Chance." I rose off of the bed.
"I slept over a friend's house because you had my car. he says.
"You could've at least called me."
"My phone died."
"Nigga, you could've found a way to contact me. Three people died at that club last night. It could've been you and I would've never known. I told you that I did not want to date another drug dealer."
"You should be glad that I am alive instead of fussing at me."
"I am glad that you are alive, but my point is that you should have gotten in contact with me to let me know that you were okay."
"I'm sorry, Ja." He tried to wrap his arms around my waist, but I backed out of his reach.
"Don't touch me."
"Why?" His eyebrows shot up.
"Nigga, you in the doghouse."
"Watch yo' mouth."
"Tell me what to do again and I will whoop your ass. You're really trying me, Ty. I stayed up all night worrying about yo' black ass and you expect me to listen to you. Oh, hell no."
"I said I was sorry."
"Sorry ain't gon cut it this time, Ty."
"Really?"
"Really."
He went into the closet to pick out some clothes then he got into the shower.
I went into the closet and picked out a pair of light blue jeans, a brown, black and white, long-sleeved, plaid button down shirt, a brown croptop, and my black Tims. When Ty got out of the bathroom, he came out dressed in a black and white shirt, tan skinny pants, and black Tims.
"Are you going shopping with me?" Ty asked me.
"What are you going shopping for?"
"Clothes."
"Let me get dressed."
I went into the bathroom and brushed my hair so I could have loose curls. Then, I put on my jeans, my croptop, and my Tims. Next, I tied my brown, black and white, long-sleeved, button down shirt around my waist. Finally, I put on some clear lip gloss.
When I walked out of the bathroom, Ty was sitting on the bed waiting for me while on his phone.
"Did you get your keys?" I asked him.
"Yeah." he responded. "You ready to go? What happened to your contacts?"
"I lost them so I got to go get my other ones from my dad's house." I grabbed my phone off of the charger.
