Chapter twenty -three

"what is he doing in here? " Sasha whispered in my ears

"what is so wrong with that? " I asked

don't blame me I grew accustomed with Ricky's company,

without Jake and Robbie named everything so boring.

now that my friends are avoiding me too

"grrr I just can't tell you ".she said as she continued eating glaring at Ricky

Ricky went and glared too

are they um arch-enemies?

because they seem like it

I better not intrigue with them and their quarrel at some sort but I just wonder what happened and what the reason is.

after awhile later Ricky left displeased of what he was seeing

"what's up with you two? " oh sorry... umm intruder alert.

"I just despise him. "

"well lucky you he feels the same way too." I said wait. was it harsh?

"obviously yea,  "

"pardon the intrusion but. what's with both of you? "

"well,  not us... it's between Jake and him ".she said giving back her old mood as of earlier

"what happen to them? " I asked

"well,  it's that both of them were like brothers and they would talk a lot and even they share the same class "

"wait what?  what's the same class?  but Jake is a 3rd year and he is a senior already ".I said

"yeah. I'm aware of that but last year they were classmates and then suddenly Ricky became a senior ".she said

"oh... weird. so continue "

"they were inseparable,  till one day....  Ricky just forgot him.. I don't know he has stopped talking to Jake and was avoiding him. and I even thought it was just an act that he is having a memory lose or something. but it's just suspicious in every  angle,  then Jake started going for it too and has stopped talking and approaching him the same way he did. just a friendship fight or something and it's their lose,  "

"they should reconcile ".I suggested

"not that easy,  what if Ricky did forgot. I mean,  he acts like he is human and just forgot that he is one of us." ...............

".................." I kept silent

not a human???  one of us???  what is happening??  what is she talking about??

I-I -I I don't know anymore

"hey Haley you became silent all of a sudden "

"............ ye-yea ".I managed to say out of my after shock

"is - is everything okay? " she asked

"it's all cool ".I answered

"umm Sasha,  I better go... see you later ".I added then left,  Sasha seemed to buy it and didn't follow me

I have to talk to Jake!

I looked at my left and saw Dianna running to me happily as always but it's not the same as Jake was here..

I wonder really what had happened to them.. if only I  would know.

geez.

"hi Dianna ".I smiled

"dad left for two weeks,  is that okay? "

"what!??  so bad my birthday is two weeks from now don't tell me he won't be there."

"I'll be there sis, and brother -- ". Jake I assume

"Robbie ".my smile fade quickly as I heard the wrong name. not entirely wrong really,  this had made me eager to know the truth about Jake and her

"and Jake ".I added and then I noticed Dianna was no longer smiling

then she turned serious and asked, 

"sister,  do you like Jake? " she asked,  wait where is your politeness in saying Jake's name?

"umm,  Dianna ".

"answer me sis... if you don't then stay away from it. . it is very dangerous ".it???

does she mean he??

"Dianna you're being rude with Jake ".I answered sharply

"he is not what he seems to be!!  he's a monster! " she snap back at me

I was about to slap her,  but I couldn't do it. my conscience has stopped me

"let's drop this topic "I said as I walk pass her

"sister,  Jake is an Elysian ".she said seriously

Elysian,  I think I've heard it somewhere, ……………
