39 Adolescence

this chapter from nate's POV is totally eye opener but of course not entirely...  I'm not ending this story yet..

Chapter thirty-nine

Adolescence,

The time where it all began

Or should I say where it all came to place

Dad already made his move but we never knew

And now I was the first one who knew this

I've seen him during midnight chanting something.  It shouldn't be weird since we all have powers here but it was different

It was something that you suspect

"You're leaving again bro? "The tone of Jake was clearly sad and broken

"Yeah "was all I replied

"You should stop this.. dad won't be pleased plus you'll get in trouble I'd be worrying for you so much that I couldn't sleep "Jake said

Has he been worried this much for me? "I'm sorry bro bro but."

"Why are you doing this? "Jake asked

I laid silent

"Are you trying to avenge mom? "He asked

"I wish but I'm not, I never loved mom anyway "I said which shocked Jake more than before

"Brother how could you not! "He was mad now

"She never loved me, all she was stuck on was you "I said

"No!  You're wrong!  She asked you one time but you ignored and rejected her "he said

"Mom never loved us. We were just burden for her "I said

He laid silent looking down on his knees,

"Remember that dad said he seduced mom and that we were just an accident, a clear mistake  "I said making him realize

"She was happy with us! "He fought back to me

"Was smiling wryly look happy to you? "I snapped

He opened his mouth to reply but he shut it and walked away , we now fought and it wasn't a good thing at all..

"I hate you brother, never speak to me again."Jake left with that said

That simple argument was the start of our bond tearing apart. And by apart it already was ..

He stopped talking to me,  he would look at me with rage in his eyes and then look away

I continued stalking and observing dad without fail and each night the more I learn a lot of things,

I always wanted dad to notice me somehow, I'm too selfish to wish that I wish that dad would talk to me like his son and he would declare me to be the next heir

I always hoped that,  and still hoping that, but I'm sure it was impossible,  day by day the more dad gained interest with Jake because of Jake's behavior

Jake changed a lot and it was mostly my fault or should I say it was all my fault

He would glare at people now and would get pissed so easily,  he wanted things to get by on his ways and that one mistake he would sentence you to death
