it had taken yoongi a while before he eventually sobered up. even though he had yet to know fully the consequences of his actions during this time, he could at least see properly and walk around his apartment without walking into something or falling over.

he took this time to rummage around for some stuff. he found some envelopes and stamps discarded at the back of one of his studio drawers. still intoxicated, yoongi stumbled back into the living room, where he began the task of folding the letters and carefully placing them inside the envelopes. his fingertips pressing down to seal the envelope closed, securing the paper inside and sticking down the stamps, he didn't exactly know what he was doing. as the tip of his pen began to write the address of hoseok's new home and labelling the edge of the envelope with roman numerals in order, he finally realised what his hands were doing.

yoongi threw the envelope labeled vi away from him as if it was instinct. the letter landed pathetically on the edge of the coffee table, threatening to fall from it with the slightest push. yoongi sighed as he fell on his side on the couch. he curled up into a ball, hugging a pillow in between his knees and his chest, where he buried his face. yoongi screamed. he screamed and screamed and screamed, his loud wails of anger and sadness muffled my the pillow he hugged closely to his chest. if he had gotten carried away and thought it was fine to leave the house in the middle of the night to post these letters, hoseok would receive them and he would read them, and from them he would find out how pathetic the older had become.

yoongi could imagine it now. hoseok's usual smiling lips pressed down into a line. his cheeks being bitten from the inside. his eyebrows knotted into a frown. and his eyes. oh, his eyes were something yoongi feared the most. he could just see the disappointment them.

no, no, yoongi could not send these letters to hoseok. he could never. he felt like his life would probably end if, in the slight odds, these letters would get into the possession of his ex lover.

but the problem was, the black haired boy didn't want to throw them away either.

he retrieved letter vi before it could tip too far from the table and stacked up all the envelopes into a pile. he needed to find a place to put these. yoongi got up and walked towards the storage closet underneath the small flight of stairs that led to his studio. the room could only fit two people with the amount of unused items laying about here and there, a thin layer of dust collecting on year long untouched surfaces. he knelt down next to a bunch of vhs tapes and vhs player, but he ignored them completely and instead he picked up a small cardboard box. luckily it was empty. he dusted it and took it out.

carefully he placed all six envelopes into the box. yoongi then took a marker and turned the box to its side where he wrote down;

hoseok

he left the box on the coffee table after deeming it safe enough for the time being, then finally going to bed.
