the door jingled as yoongi walked through it. surprisingly no one had complained about him letting in the cold wind, but then again there was no one there. no one really wanted to go out during winter. yoongi walked around the many aisles of books until he reached the one near the end of the shop. he took two bundles of envelopes and a handful of stamps and brought them to the counter.

peculiar, namjoon wouldn't be reading a comic.

yoongi cleared his throat in annoyance. the new worker namjoon employed must not know about manners towards the customers. but yoongi had already caught the attention of the boy behind the counter, who had almost fallen down form his chair, trying to straighten up and put down the comic.

jeon jungkook. what the hell was he doing here?

"what the hell are you doing here?"

"oh." jungkook replied as he began to run the envelopes under the machine. "yoongi hyung. nice to see you. i'm just covering for namjoon hyung. i owe him a lot. so does taehyung." there was silence for a while as jungkook began putting the stamps and envelopes into a paper bag. yoongi placed the money on the counter, telling the younger to keep the change.

"so, how are you with hoseok hyung?" jungkook asked and yoongi winced.

"that's none of your business."

"hoseok hyung hasn't contacted me in ages though."

"so?"

"i was wondering if you knew something was up."

the door opened to reveal another customer, who had hurriedly walked all the way to the stationary aisle.

"no, i don't know if something is up." yoongi snapped.

"why? aren't you guys talking?"

"why do you want to know so badly?"

"because you guys are my friends."

the other customer was already walking towards the counter now.

"too bad, it seems you already have another customer."

jungkook frowned. "if you need to talk to anyone about this, i'm here you know." he called out as yoongi walked to the door. the older just waved his comment off before leaving.
