"Wake up Princess." A voice rang through my head

"What's up with people interrupting my sleep?" I mumbled turning over.

"Come on Princess we're going hunting." A hand shook me, I opened my eyes to see Daryl standing in front of me.

"Ugh, five more minutes." I mumbled into the pillow.

"I'll give you one more chance before I dump this ice water on your head." I heard water swishing in a bucket. I sat up quickly and hit my head on the bunk. I gasped in pain and fell down again.

Then the water hit me. I shot up, this time not hitting my head.

"What the hell! I was up!" I screamed

"Well, now you're awake." Daryl shrugged and threw the bucket. "Come on Princess let's go, get dressed."

I growled and he backed up and walked out of the cell. I got up and walked over to my bag and grabbed a new pair of leggings and a new cameo tank. I changed quickly and grabbed my wet clothes and katana and walked out of the cell.

"Juli! You're hair and clothes are soaked." A girl exclaimed. I think her name was Betsy? Um? Brittany? Beth? Yeah that's it, Beth.

"I'll dry these for you." She said taking them out of my hands.

"Wow, um, thanks Beth." I said as she nodded and ran to who knows where.

"The Princess is up." Daryl exclaimed walking in.

"What's up with calling me Princess?" I asked out of annoyance. "You know my name."

"I just think Princess is a better name. Probably how you were treated back home." Daryl remarked

"Actually, no, I wasn't treated as a Princess maybe Daddy's little girl when I was younger but no. You're wrong." I told him holding back the anger in bringing up my family.

"Well, I'm going to call you Princess okay? Okay." He said tossing me a crossbow.

"Nice," I commented examining the bow. "Blue and White arrows, love them."

"Good, I thought the Princess would want pink." Daryl smirked

"I hate pink." I shuttered at the thought of the horrid color.

"Okay Princess, let's go." Daryl said motioning for me to follow.

"Have fun." Carl called

I caught up to Daryl,

"Why don't we bring Carl?" I asked him,

"Rick wouldn't like that." Daryl admitted.

"Oh." I said slowly. "But Carl is 15, he should know how to handle a gun."

"He does, but Rick still wouldn't like him going with us." Daryl whispered.

"I'll protect him with my life, bring him with us Daryl." I paused, "After all, I am the Princess." He turned and looked at me and stopped walking.

"Using your nickname against me?" He growled

"You, gave it to me." I growled back, "Carl! Let's go!" I yelled without breaking the eye contact with Daryl.

"If he gets hurt-" Daryl started.

"It will be my fault I know. I'll take responsibility." I finished for him.

Carl ran up with his gun in hand.

"You ready?" I asked him.

"Let's go." He smiled,

We were maybe a good 10 minutes into the woods. The katana was on my back and I had the crossbow raised. Carl had his gun and Daryl had his crossbow. No Walkers had yet to come to us, I thought it was a little weird.

"Juli?" Carl whispered, still looking forward

"Yeah?" I asked

"Thank you for bringing me with you guys." He smiled a little, "Daryl never let's me go with him."

"Well, you're with me," I smiled, "So you're safe."

A rustle came from my left, I looked at Carl and Daryl but I was the only one who heard it. I turned to where the sound was coming from.

"Carl." I whispered, "Carl."

"What?" he asked standing next to me.

"There's something...in that bush.." I whispered, "But I don't know what it is."

Carl raised his gun and shot the tree.

"Don't shoot me! Please! Please don't shoot me." A voice sobbed.

"Come on out and I won't shoot." I called, Daryl was next to me, I lowered his crossbow.

"O-Ok-Okay... don't..shoot me...please.." A girl appeared out of the bush. She dropped her gun.

"What's your name?" I asked her, "What's your name?!"

"Charlie." She said quietly. She had Black hair with the ends red and bright green eyes. She looked really familiar.

"Is there anyone else with you?" Daryl asked

"My sister Ellie." She said, "Ellie, come here." A girl about maybe 14/15 appeared. She had light brown hair that was dip dyed Pink. I could see from here that she had blue eyes. That's how much they shined. They were both around the same height but it was obvious that Charlie was older.

"Drop your bow Ellie." I said in a soothing voice. She hesitated before dropping her bow.

"Are you going to kill us?" Ellie asked quietly.

"No," I said quietly. I looked at Charlie a little bit longer, "Do I know you from somewhere?" I asked her.

She smiled, "I was waiting for you to recognize me Juli." She walked closer to me, "I'm Charlotte, Charlotte Lee? I went to school with you before hell broke loose." I looked at her closer

"You...you were in my History Class.." I whispered.

"So you remember me?" She asked

"Yeah, but I didn't know you had a sister.." I admitted

"Yeah, a lot of people didn't know that." She smiled, "Do you have a camp near by?" she asked her eyes shinning.

I looked at Daryl and then Carl, "Yes, would you like to come back with us?" I asked her, "Oh and this is Daryl and this is Carl." I motioned to them.

"Could we come back?" Charlie asked

"Yeah, anything for a friend." I smiled. We obviously weren't that close but I did remember her.

"Okay, let's go." She said, Daryl grabbed her gun and Ellie's bow.

"Just let him," I said to them, "He's weird like that." Daryl glared but I smiled. "Is that all you have?" I asked motioning to the bags on their backs.

"Yeah, we don't have much." Charlie admitted.

"Well, we'll have a place for you to sleep and people to make sure you're not hurt."

"Okay, let's go." Charlie said.

Daryl grunted and I looked at him, "We'll finish this later." I told him and started walking with Ellie, Carl and Charlie while Daryl lagged behind.
