Ch. 24 Inside

Lately, Jimin and Taehyung's relationship has been on thin ice. It was willing to break at any moment. Deep down inside both of them didn't want that. They never wanted their relationship to end. They had too much history together they didn't want to lose. And it was a dumb reason why the two were budding heads, it was over a girl of all reasons. A girl they both wanted badly.

Jimin also wanted to fix things with Y/n since the two hadn't been on speaking terms as well. He got dressed for the day and walked over to Tae's room so they could talk things out.

Knock, Knock

"Who is it?"

"It's Jimin."

"What do you want?"

"We need to talk."

"I don't want to talk to you."

"Come on, I don't know how much of this I can take Tae. I miss how things used to be. We've had fight after fight. And the only way to fix this is to talk it out."

"Make it quick," Tae says opening the door.

"Talk." 

"Lately I've been acting like I'm on edge all the time. I've been getting into arguments, fights etc. I've had a lot on my mind. Some things no one would ever understand unless they were in my shoes. I've sort of been taking my stress out on everyone. And to be honest, I'm really happy for you and Y/n. You guys make a great couple. I'll do anything to support you guys."

"Really? Are you sure? You don't have feelings for Y/n."

"I'm positive. I've just been really protective over her lately. And if she's happy, I'm happy. Plus, I'm over the feelings I had for her. I have a girlfriend who does have an interest in me and grades to keep up."

"Well, I'm glad you finally came through."

"Yeah. It just needed to be done."

"By the way, is Y/n in her room?"

"No, she went out to do somethings with Nari this morning but, I can tell her what you want to say."

"Tell her I'm sorry for how I was acting. I didn't mean to make you and her feel uncomfortable about your new relationship."

"I will."

"Anyway, I'll see you later."

"Yeah, see ya later"

Jimin just lied straight to his best friends face. Of course, he still loved Y/n. And even if he wanted to stop, he couldn't. All Jimin wanted was a chance to turn back time so he could be known as her boyfriend. No one else.

At the cafe (Y-POV)...

"Y/n, are you sure you're ok? You've been really qu-"

"I'm dating Taehyung."

"I'm sorry...what?"

"I'm dating Taehyung."

"I thought you said you were in love with Jimin. And you said, you can't feel the same with anyone else."

"I know! I know."

"Then tell me why you're withTaehyung if still have feelings for Jimin."

"Tae asked me on a date, and I didn't want to turn him down, so I said yes. The night he asked me out he was kind and sweet. And when we went on the date it was fun. He asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend. I told myself I wouldn't date him if there wasn't a spark. But there was one."

"So you're saying you were never really in love with Jimin."

"No, I'm saying I see Tae differently than before. Like I have a crush on him."

"I don't get it."

"Yes, you can say that I like Tae but, Jimin is a different story."

"Explain his part then."

"I like Tae, but I love Jimin. I can't get over him and I won't. I wanted to date Tae to see if I could get over him."

"So you're telling me, Tae is like your rebound."

"When you put it like that, it makes it seem like I'm one of those hoes."

"Then stop acting like one. Listen to your heart Y/n. If it is telling you to be with Jimin. Be with him."

"Better said than done. He's with Seung still."

"You know what I mean. Break up with Tae, and save him from the heartbreak that can come at any time."

"We've only been dating for a few days. I'm gonna wait this out to see if it's all true."

"You're playing a dangerous game with two guys Y/n. I minus well call you the bachelorette."

"Stop it. You're making me feel worse."

"I'm just giving you the advice you need."
