Chapter 11: Jackie

Peter pulled in a shaky breath as he lifted his hand to knock on the door. His hand hit the hard wood (HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHA), once, twice, three times.
"Jackie? It's me Peter... your brother!" Jessa could tell Peter was nervous by the way his voice wavered. (Boi you BETTER BE NERVOUS)
The sliding lock moved. The door cracked open,"Where is the place I have always wanted to live?" The girl asked. (??????????WHAT??????????)
"The island of depression." (??????????????????????TF IS THIS????????????) Peter chuckled, earning the door slamming in his face. (yeah you earned it)
Loki grinned,"I believe you deserved that." (I agree with you) Jessa let out a giggle at Loki's comment.
"Greece, Jackie you've always wanted to go to Greece." (bish me TOOOOOOOOOO) Peter put his hand on the door,"Just please let us in!" (oh it's a CODE)
The door opened again,"I hate you!" The girl, Jessa assumed was Jackie (no it's mICHELLE OBAMA YOU DUMBASS OF COURSE IT'S JACKIE), punched Peter's arm playfully.
"I hate you too." Peter pulled his younger sister into a hug,"I missed you."
Jackie let out a nervous cough,"So... we have a lot to catch up on." (like how you have a BOYFRIEND) (I think) Jackie broke apart from the hug.
Jackie walked into the apartment gesturing for the others to follow her.
Jessa squealed silently,"She's so adorable!" (mmmmmhhhHHHHHHHHhhhhhmmmm) Jessa grabbed Loki's hand and pulled him into the apartment.
Peter sat down on the couch,"So it's a been awhil-" Jessa interrupted him.
"Jackie, how old are you?" Jessa asked,"What's your favorite color?" (blue - no - yellow! AAAAAHHHHHHH)
Jackie chuckled,"I am sixteen, and my favorite color is either green or gold." Loki leaned over towards Jessa.
"I like this girl." (good taste) He whispered. Jessa nodded, agreeing.
Peter raised one eyebrow,"Have you been having any problems?" Jackie's eyes widened, she nodded.
"How did you know?" She let out a breath," It started a few years ago, after you left. Some scientists experimented on me against my will, my powers started growing, I've tried to stable them. The problem is, they only got worse." (awwwww you poor THING) Peter raised one eyebrow.
"How bad is it?" He questioned nervously,"Did you get hurt at all?" (wow what a REALLY careless response)
Jackie nodded,"The, uh, process was painful. I soon learned to deal with the pain, my hands also start go glow a weird reddish color whenever I try to put a lid on it." (wanda is that YOU)
Loki smiled impressed,"So you have power?" Jackie shrugged.
"I guess it is, but it doesn't feel like it." She bit her lip nervously,"Why would power hurt this much?" (honey you don't know the first thing about it)
Loki put a hand on her shoulder,"Sometimes having a great power in you can be painful, but most of the time it is worth it in the end. Just remember, with great power comes great responsibility."(Uncle Ben! Nuuuu)
"Since when were you a therapist?" Jessa asked, chuckling,"Maybe I need to go in for a session with you." (oh yeahhhhh a sessionnnnnn mhhmmmmmmm yeahhhhhh)
A light blush spread across Loki's face,"They are so cute! Are they dating?" Jackie asked causing Jessa and Loki to look away from each other.
"No but they need to they are sooo adorable together!" (you ship it? I ship it.) Peter smiled,"They almost kissed on the jet."
Jackie raised one eyebrow,"What stopped them?"
Peter's breath hitched,"I- uhh- I had to watch, and I was eating chips." (PETER)
"You should have just let it play out! It always does." Jackie winked over at Jessa and Loki.
Jessa tried to change the subject," So, you are sixteen, yet you live in your own apartment, how to you do that?"
Jackie shrugged," I may have gotten a little help, from- uh- Tony Stark." She smiled,"I work with the Avengers, they call me the Hooded Phantom" (AN: this girl will have her own story). (Annotation: you betta write it)
"Tony Stark!" Jessa gasped, "Are you crazy!? (I was sent to kill him!)" Jackie slightly nodded while shrugging.
"Well, yeah. He's not that bad, he's actually helped me out with my powers a lot."Jackie smiled,"He saved my life once."
Jessa's eyes were full of suspicion, "Wow, he actually helped you?" Jessa looked down at her hands, "Kid, if anything ever happens to your brother, Loki, or me go straight to Tony."
Jackie nodded,"Yeah." She looked over at her brother,"Be safe, alright?" Peter nodded and engulfed her in a hug.
"I'll be fine, kid. I promise." Peter chuckled.
