Prologue

He ruined everything. Everything's gone.

I won't forget the time that he broke up with me.

All those precious memories are gone, the times that we spent together as a couple completely fade away. What did I lack that I didn't have that he was looking for?

Is it my loyal attitude to him or my sweetness? I guess I don't have both the best qualities of a girl who is seeking love after a long time.

I first met him during our sophomore years at Pledis Academy, I was a transferee student from Gwangju, which I was born and raised. My parents decided to move to Daegu because they can't afford the tuition fee increase back at my previous school of my hometown. My parents made a promise that I should study hard but I'm not a smart student or a dunce just because my IQ is low.

What's worse is that my friends betrayed me. It's not because that I love Minhyun, the popular member of Nu'EST, it's because I became a stalker and one day, I ruined something that I shouldn't have done: It was during Alice's birthday and I was shocked that she is dating with my ex-boyfriend (Minhyun) secretly at a restaurant. It's very trending in SNS so I got really mad at her, I cursed at her saying that she is a flirt and she's very desperate to have a relationship.

Do you know what Alice told me? She said, "You're such a stalker, Nara. I never knew that you will betray me like that." But then, I told her, "You're just jealous of me and my namjachinggu yet you're very desperate to find the lucky guy you've been searching for and instead you're dating him?! What kind of a friend are you? I really hate you!"

"From now on, the five of us will never talk to you again. This friendship is over, Kwon Nara!" Alice shouted in anger and I stormed out of the house, crying because of what she told me.

I'm on my own. I can't live happily without my important people very close to me. Everything just broke into a million pieces and I just wish that I don't want to live a sad life.
