"Snowfur? Is something wrong?" You asked

"Nothing, Bluefur is just being ridiculous." Snowfur sniffed.

You tilted your head slightly.

"It just.. Bluefur is seeing a Rivercaln cat!" Snowfur spat

Your heart dropped.

"W-what?" You stuttered in disbelief

Snowfur realized his mistake to late and you shook yourself before bounding away.

"Wait, Y/w/n!" Snowfur called

You ignored him and just kept running. You stumbled blindly through the territory before bursting out of bushed near the Thunderpath.

There was a few Shadowclan cats there, they whirled around looking scarred.

Your pelt bristled and you hissed, "Why are you here! This is Thunderclan territory!"

"Oh and what are you gonna do about it?" One of them challenged.

You lost the last bit of restraint you had left and kept at the nearest one, tearing their ear before leaping to the next as the first ran off your territory.

The fight intensified when Bluefur and Snowfur joined in after finding you.

Snowfur chased them onto the Thunderpath and you rushed after him, trying to save him as you saw a monster headed his way.

Bluefur stayed glued to his place in shock. You didn't make it in time.

The monster hit him and you let out a shriek of pain as your front paws were caught by it.

The monster passed, the pain was excruciating but you hardly felt it as you called out to Snowfur in fear.

"It's not true, it just can't be true!"

Your vision began to fail and the pain over came you as Bluefur arrived to the spot.

.

.

"I-it hurts! It hurts so bad!" You cried as you lay in your nest.

"Shh, it's ok, it will get better, here have some poppy seeds, they'll help." Featherwhisker cooed gently, pushing the small black seeds forward.

You obeyed quickly, the pain went away and you fell asleep.

.
.

You felt pain, it was also really hot, similar to Greenleaf but not the muggy hot heat it was more of when you've been sitting in the sun for to long and your fur began to overheat.

You felt like a kit again, nuzzling against your mothers belly even though her milk had ceased to flow. You were stuck there, on that snowy day, mewling and unable to open you eyes.

It was different though, you didn't remember your mother responding but now something was stroking your flank gently and whispering reassuringly into your ear.

.

.

Your eyes opened slowly. Your throat was dry and it was dark. You called out into the darkness quietly.

It was silent before you heard shuffling. Featherwhisker stepped into view and sat next to you.

He looked exhausted and you felt guilty for keeping him up.

"Are you ok? What do you need?" He asked quietly

You licked your dry lips, signaling what it is. He disappeared for a bit before coming back with dripping moss.

You lapped at it, flicking your tail when you finished.

"How are your legs? I expect they hurt right?" He asked

"Only one. I can't feel the other." You replied

He looked shocked then worried, poking at the leg you couldn't feel. He sighed heavily.

"Y/w/n, I'm sorry but I don't think you'll ever be able to use your leg again." He said sorrowfully.

"What! No! What's gonna happen with me than!" You wailed

"You," he took a breath, "You can't be a warrior anymore."

Your eyes widened largely and you felt the world shifting under you. You put your head between your legs, trying to process that your days of running through the forest and helping the clan were over.

Featherwhisker laid next to you and tried to comfort you all night until dawn when he left to get you prey and you guessed to also tell the clan the news.
