backstory Elizabeth had always dreamed of being a nurse. When they had the chance, she and Peggy joined the army. Peggy as an soldier, and Elizabeth as a nurse. One day a reckless Bucky Barnes came into the infirmary and the rest is history. After spending a couple months together, Bucky popped the question. A little while later, Elizabeth became pregnant and gave birth to a son, Steven Michal Barnes, after Steve, and Elizabeth's brother. It was a fabulous two years until Steve caught the Spanish Influenza. The entire nursing and doctor staff did what ever they could but the young child was taken from the earth within days. It took Elizabeth quite a long time to get over it because she blamed herself. Knowing enough about medical, she thought it would save him. It took almost a year for Elizabeth to return to sort of a normal lifestyle. Just when she though it couldn't get any worse, Bucky disappeared after falling off a train. Fast forward a couple years to when a new serum was developed to stop aging. Immediately Elizabeth wanted to do it. Since then she has not aged a day. When she got the serum, she blacked out. a few days after regaining concentration, she discovered her power to control plants. She watched Peggy, Sharon, and Tony (of course) all grow up.
