Alice finished the last lyrics and took in a breath.
She turned around and saw that Cade and his two other band mates had impressed looks on their faces.
"What?"
Cade gasped and pointed to her. "Yes, haha! You forgot about your weeklong silence dare and now you have to do something for me!!"
Alice groaned and shook her head. "What do I have to do?"
Cade looked at his band mates and they nodded. "Be our lead singer."
Alice was shocked to say the least. "Really? I could have been your slave for a day, yet you ask me to be in your band?"
Cade smiled and said, "I need a lead singer more than I need my room cleaned."
The guy playing drums laughed. "But we all know you still need to clean it."
Cade glared at him. "I'm getting a drink. You guys get to know each other."
Alice turned to the two guys left. "So."
"So."
She smiled and said, "I'm Alice. Nice to meet you. What's the band called anyways?"
"Dean. Nice to meet you too. I play drums for this lovely band, which is called Paradox."
"Brock. Hello, I like your hair. I play bass."
She shook their hands and nodded. "Thanks. I feel like Cade is up to something because he usually asks his guests if they want a drink."
Dean and Cade looked at each other and had some weird silent conversation.
Alice walked to a shelf and grabbed a Nerf gun of the top. She loaded it and hid behind the door.
Cade busted into the garage with water guns.
"Where'd she go?"
Both boys cracked up as Alice pelted Cade with Nerf darts and was soaked by water back.
"Best initiation yet."
"Well, now that I'm soaked, who wants to go grab pizza?"
