After drinking their coffee, they all ran to Cade's car, but Cade asked if Dean and Brock could go get Alex's number.

Dean and Brock nodded there heads and raced to Starbucks, shoving each other.

"Urm Alice I've been meaning to ask this question for awhile." Cade said, scratching the back of his head.

"Would you like to go on a-a date with me?" He questioned nervously.

Alice blushed and looked down using her hair to cover her cheeks like a curtain.

"I wouldn't like to...."

Cade gave her a sad look and nodded his head feeling stupid.

"I would love too." she said, bringing her head up.

Cade looked at her with shock. He hugged her and spun her around.

"Since how long have you liked me?" Alice asked him.

"Since first grade."

"That's a long time." She noted.

He hugged her again and whispered, "It was worth the wait."

Alex, Dean, and Brock came back. The two boys cheered and fist bumped. "You did it!" they cried.

Alex looked confused.

"Cade asked Alice out." Dean explained to Alex."By the looks of it, she said yes."

"Not to be rude, but why is Alex here?" Cade asked setting Alice down.

"Dean invited her." Brock said wiggling his eyebrows. "You like-" Dean placed his hand on Brock's mouth.

Alice studied Alex.

She had pink hair, big brown doe eyes, and pale-ish skin.

She studied Dean next.

He had black hair that covered a bit of his hazel eyes and he has olive skin.

"Dalex is my new OTP!" Alice exclaimed.

Dean and Alex blushed.

....

Minutes later, they arrived at Cade's house.

Cade's mother greeted everyone and shooed them to the kitchen where the cake was already placed.

The cake looked extremely good.

"RED VELVET!" Brock and Alice screamed. Alice gave him a weird look.

They stuffed their faces. When Brock had the last piece, Alice was mad. She grabbed his plate and pushed it in his face.

Brock gave her an angry look, then shoved her cake in her face. She gasped and grabbed Alex's cake and splattered it on his head. He shrieked and Cade took her away before further damage was down.

He carried her to her bathroom and used the box of wipes he had in there to wipe her face.

"Alice, that was not nice!" Cade said, covering up his laughter.

She rolled her eyes and reached to grab a wipe but Cade stopped her. " I'll do it." he said and grabbed two.

He started cleaning his face. His eyes flickered to her lips. Alice saw and blushed.

He started leaning in and she did too. They kissed softly. Alice's stomach was twisting but not in a good way, which confused her.

After they stopped kissing and Alice's face was cleaned, they walked downstairs.

Alice thought about Alex's pink hair.

She had wanted to dye her hair, too.

Alice pulled Alex aside.

"Umm, can I ask you a question?"

"Technically, you already did. But yeah, shoot."

"Um, where can I get my hair dyed?"

"Oh. I did mine myself, so I honestly don't know. I'd happily do yours, though. What color do you want?"

"More like colors."

"Okay so what 'colors?'"

"Rainbow, please."

"Why rainbow?"

"I dunno."

"Hm, well okay. I'll get the dye and meet you at your house."

"Gasp! We can have a sleep over to get to know each other better!"

"Yeah. As long as you have movies and the pizza guy on call."

"Oh trust me, I do."

"Okay then, let's go tell the guys we're going and I'll have my mom drop me off at your house. Where do you live?"

"819 Cedar Drive."

"That's like a block away from my house."

"Cool."

"Hey guys, Alice and I are leaving now. Thanks for the cake, Mrs. Dall."

"No problem, dearie."

The two girls waved and set off in different directions, only to reunite later for pizza and rainbows.
