ANNA CLUNG TIGHTLY to her binder full of her transfer papers and transcripts from her old school as she walked alone through the Beacon Hills High School's parking lot.

Although, her stomach was a mess. She had her roster in hand, as long with a map Lydia lended her that everyone received their freshmen year to find their way around the school. But somehow, she knew, she'd get lost.

It'd been a couple days since she and her father came to discuss her transfer, and although Natalie Martin did keep in touch to keep Anna confident in her choices, she was still scared. Luckily – Her first period class happened to be with Lydia.

Until Lydia didn't show up, nor did any other familiar faces.

By third period, Anna found herself in study hall for what would've been her math period. She was spastically texting her brother about how she didn't know if this was right — she'd never really known any other school aside from boarding school, and this was sure different as hell.

She scoffed, searching through her bag for something to write with. The library was mostly empty and she had to get these papers done before the end of the day – which couldn't be done without a pen.

"Really?" She mumbled to herself, throwing her hands up in frustration. "First day and I forget a God damn–"

"Pen?" A boy asked, extending his arm out to her as he sat down at her table. Anna narrowed her eyes at him, "Um, thanks, I guess." She laughed lightly, taking the pen into her hand as she began to write. "Little creep how you knew, Mister, uh" She trailed off, hoping he'd get the hint.

"McCall. Scott," He smiled at her, and Anna nodded. "Lacrosse star, next to the freshmen," She pointed her pen at him. "Aren't you Stiles' friend?"

"You know him?" Scott asked, raising an eyebrow. Anna nodded, "Yep, my brother works with his dad."

She extended her hand out, "Anna Parrish."

"Oh!" Scott exclaimed, causing the remote few others in the room to shush him. "You're Parrish's sister." He shook her hand lightly, with a smile planted on his face.

"Nice to meet you," Scott spoke aloud. "Hey, is there any chance you're free later?"

Anna nodded, "Other than bugging Jordan at the station, pretty much."

"Cool," Scott nodded, getting up quickly, "See you later!"

Anna scrunched her face together in confusion, "Bye?" She waved awkwardly, watching as he walked quickly out of the library. "Weird," She whispered to herself as she continued to fill out her forms.
