Chapter 25

Chaos

THAT was for the best. Peter knew what is going to happen if he keeping Gwen again by his side, as she wanted to. The last time he promised her to follow her everywhere, she fell. Then, Peter never wanna make the same promise anymore.

Now, she's safe, inside her real home. Peter somehow feel relieved. He came back home at morning, and tell Aunt Nina and Uncle Jack for what happened.

Shortly, he just said, Gwens work is over in ESU and her mom's sick, so she should go home immediately. Yea, he's lying. But that's probably for the best.

Then his class in ESU is begin again. He's attending all of them, and soon with half attention during New York's crisis time. If you dont know what that's mean, that's when NYC needs Spiderman.

In his college life, meanwhile Flash has his General Science Exam. On their break time, he literally said buch of complaints about exam's problems to Peter. What's new today is...Flash finally care about his study.

Responding all of them, Peter just chuckled and ate his sandwich once more.

"Youre just too worried, Flash. Relax. The next test should be okay."

"That's for you, Parker. Not for me."

Peter grins, feeling funny about that sentence, somehow. "That's clearly for you, Flash. I dont have General Science class."

Reply that teasing, Flash just throw a slice of carrot to Peters face. "Damn it." "I wish i could have your---"

But his words being cutted off. Flash's gaze moving on to someone else behind Peter, but not exactly behind.

"She isnt have a seat with us?"

Peter's face turned to confuse fastly, "Who?"

"MJ."

Soon enough, heard the name again makin Peter sighed.

Finally he's just reply, "Maybe she's just wanna move on."

"What do you---"

Again, Flash being cutted of. Peter stands up, pretend to have a urgent business before their fourth class today.

"Ah, sorry.. I remembered i should go to library for doing some research. Paperwork."

"Okay."

"Bye, Flash. See you later."

"Yeah."

Peter's walking out of the canteen. But actually, without anyone know, even Gwen, he's just afraid to see MJ again in this short time.

His thought flying to somewords from last night.

Peter couldnt help but frozen on his seat. The kiss was different. Also, MJ's words after that made him couldnt believe his ears.

'Just announce it, Parker.. It will be okay. Like Iron Man---the whole world knew he's Tony Stark. Why not for you? Also, it'll be fun, youre gonna be my best catch since i worked with him. The fact i obviously love you, that's just a bonus.'

At the last minute, Peter could find his voice. He replied, "Work with who...?"

"Harry. My baby. Oh- i mean, the second."

"...the first is still you. Then if you wont do that: tell the world and everything, let's just watch her fall again."

And, obviously Peter cant let Gwen hurting again. The first is more than enough.

Peter is walking through the hall, searching empty class or room to start a chat with Gwen.

But at last, he choose men's toilet.

Soon, he typed,
'Hows your first day at home?'

Surprisingly, Gwen replied him a second after, 'It's just too fun. Every member accepted me like the past. They taught and told me anything. Including about you.'

Then, the chat continues by,

Peter: 'About me? I hope they werent tell the bad things XD.'

Gwen: 'Eh, you know my brothers, right? They always do.'

Peter: 'Damn XD'

Gwen: 'But im sure that fit enough with you. They describe you perfectly.'

Peter: 'Yeah, i believe that ;-)'

Gwen: 'This is what you usually do. Winking 😫'

Peter: 'What's the problem?'

Gwen: 'Surely that has the big problem, Bug Boy 😒 I cant stand.'

Peter: 'Especially when i do that to another girls? 😏😂'

Gwen: 'Peter?!😣'

Peter: 'Aw! Those red cheeks! 😍'

Gwen: 'Godness. I swear, you should stop. 😩'

Peter: 'I wont 😜'

Gwen: 'ILYSM, big head 😎.'

But, this time, when Peter wanna reply, he heard massive bomb, then scream. Peter had to close the convo and put in his phone. He walks out.

Outside the toilet, he found this campus has changed into chaos. Students running everywhere. One more explosion, then that man appear.

"GIVE ME SPIDERMAN!"
