A very annoying beeping noise echoes in my ears, a blinding light floods into my eyes as they come to a slow opening. I try to place my hand on my aching head, but find it that my arms and wrists are tied down. I try to call for help. I try to call for someone who could tell me what the hell was going on, but the only thing that escapes my dry lips was a hoarse and very drained sound, barely audible for even myself to hear.

Once I gain my proper vision, I recall being in a hospital ward, the tiny room had only two chairs and a window, shaded by the brown curtain. I hear a door open; slowly I turn to face it. A man in a white lab coat followed by a woman with short brown hair and another girl - about my age - with long blue hair enters.

"You're awake!" the woman exhales, her voice sounding vaguely familiar. She rushes to my bed side and pulls me into a bone-crushing hug. "I was so worried." I can hear her cry. The girl with blue hair wore a distressed smile on her face while holding a cup of coffee in her hands. "You finally decided to wake up, hu?" she asks. I don't reply, seeing that I can't bring to mind who these people are.

"A mild case of amnesia, ma'am. She probably can't remember who you are at the moment, but it'll pass." says the man. His chocolate skin goes well against the green scrubs and white coat. "Her memories should be back in about two to three days. Four days tops. In the meantime, we'd like to keep her here until those memories are revived again." he insists. "Of course. Thanks doc." says the blue haired one.

The man exits, closing the door quietly upon exiting. "I'm so happy you're alright." the brunette whispers with a sigh. She wipes her well made up face before her tears even begin to fall. "I'll be back, Jecilia. Would you mind explaining her situation to her for me?" she asks, before running off, letting the door slam - which only caused my thriving headache to scream louder. The blue haired girl replaces her spot on the bed and sighs. "I got you coffee. Your fav. Even though I doubt you remember at this point." she states, aetting the Starbucks cup down on the nightstand near the bed. I stare at her, trying to regain any memory of the beautiful girl. Her long lashes and plump lips; her long blue hair that draped over the shoulders of her blue dress. She was scarcely familiar, but also ever-so...foreign. She fixed her lips to speak, but an airy laugh was forced out, followed by tears. "If you were feeling better, I'd slap the shit outta you." she states. I'm taken back by her comment.

"Getting into a car accident, scaring the piss outta me, Jessie? Really? You've gotta be joking." she sniffles. "What...happened?" I manage to choke out. She sighs, yet again, and begins the long tale of the accident, holding in tears in the process.

I can't help but to cry. The information I was getting...the details that were spilled out to me...it was horrific, traumatizing... "...He jumped in front of you to save your life..." she finishes, wiping her wet face with the sleeve of her jean jacket.

And that was it...the story she'd told, every detail she'd indicated. She told me everything. Our quiet sobs filled the room with sadness. She wraps her arms around me tightly. "Don't you ever scare me like that again." she whispers in my ear. "Ever..."

[A Note From The Author]

Hello! Just wanted to say the redhead is Jessa - the main character - and Jecilia is the blue haired girl [external link] - her best friend, also kinda the main character. Also! This story is for a friend who is not on Wattpad because she claims that she sucks at writing and didn't want to embarrass herself, so instead, I decided to do it for her and tell you that. Thank you for reading and enjoy the story... I gotta feelin it's gonna be one of the better ones I write, honestly.

P.S. Comments = cyber hugs ^_^
