"So, Belle," Brendon starts. "Belle?" she asks with a raised brow at her new nick name. "Yeah. Short for Jessabelle." he explains. Jessabelle laughs and sips at her coffee. "You're gonna be up all night if you keep drinking that." Brendon points at her coffee. "I'm up all night anyway..." Jessabelle mutters under her breath.
"Oh, really? And why might that be?" Brendon asks, in a playful yet very concerned tone. "I have a lot to think about, is all." Jessabelle tries to end the conversation. "Like what?" he continues to question her. "It's nothing. Really." she says shying away from the topic.
"I think our pictures are ready, wanna go see?" he asks, coming to an understanding that she didn't want to talk about it. Jessabelle puts on a smile and takes his hand, leading him into the store.

"Damn, you are gorgeous." Brendon mumbles as he flips thru the photos. Jessabelle found her face growing hot. "Brendon..." she whines. "Oh, I'm sorry." he scratches his head as he smiles. "Jecilia, you take amazing pitcture." Ryan states as he looks at the ones Jecilia submitted to Jessabelle's work.
"I try." Jecilia says flipping her long blue hair and plopping into a chair next to Ryan, her sanwhich in hand. "Wow, luch with Panic at the Disco, how weird." Jessabelle states as she eyes the small cafe they were in. "Speaking of, where's Spencer?" Jecilia asks. "Planning a party he's having. You guys are more than welcome to join us if you want." Ryan says in between hungry bites of his "Big Man" sandwhich. "Hey, Ry, you gonna be able to finish that?" Brendon asks teasingly. "Shut up." he scoffs. Brendon and the girls laugh.
The group of friends finish their food and begon on their way. "Well," Jecilia starts. "Ryan and I are gonna hit the library. I gotta find me something to read on my plane ride to Chicago." she says. "Chicago? What the hell?" Jessabelle asks. "Oh! Shit... I didn't tell you, did I? Well, Dad wants me to come and visit for about a week. He says I'd better do it now before he starts to move around again. It's the least I could do for all he's done for me." she shrugged.
"We'll talk more when we get home." Jessabelle said. "Sure we will." Jecilia states with a playful roll og her dark brown eyes. "We're taking your car, Jessa. I'm trying to save on gas for now." Jecilia announces before running off with Ryan. Jessabelle lets her go without another word.
[It's getting late and I cannot seem to find my way home tonight]
"You're an idiot!" Jessabelle cackles. "It was a dare! I hade to. They had my pride." Brendon nearly pouts. "And yelling 'I'm a sexy birdy' out of the sunroof of your car while you flap your 'wings' was going to give you your pride back?" Jessabelle smiles as she waits for a reply.
"Hell yeah." Brendon answers, making her laugh. He stared as she smiles and laughs at all his foolish jokes and stories of him and the band. Her hand tangled in his, her thumb tracing circles on the back of his hand, while the other played innocently with his dark brown hair. She was beautiful, especially under the bright blanket of stars and the creasent moon above.
"Enough about me and my weird bunch of friends. What about you?" he asked. "Well," Jessabelle starts. "I came from a family without a dad. My mother was a drunk and I moved in with my rich uncle who works with Jecilia's dad." her answer being completely calm and very abrupt. "A drunk?" Brendon asks. "When my dad left her, she started to abuse alcohol. She worked at a bar, until she got fired for drinking up all the booze. I got used to it after a while, but my uncle inststed I move into his appartment. And now here I am." she says.
"Do you talk to your mom?" he asks. "She's in a rehabilitation center. The last time I talked to her she said she was doing it for me...so we could be happy again, but that was before Jordan died." she frowns. Brendon stares at her saddened face, wanting to cheer her up again. "Jordan was lucky." he said. Jessabelle looked up into his dark brown eyes, drowning in them. "How...so?" she managed to say.
Brendon looked up at the sky, breaking their eye contact. "He had a wonderful person like you to be with." he states. Jessabelle smiles. "Thank you." she said, pulling him into a hug.
The hug was broken by Brendon's cell phone ringing. "I'm sorry." he says, taking his iPhone out of his back pocket and sliding his finger across the screen, irritation rang in his voice when he answered. "Yeah, what?" he asked. A few moments of silcene passed before he was repaeting "yeah, alright, okay." over and over until he hung up.
He sighed and layed back on the hood of the car that was parked in a vacant lot. "What's the matter?" Jessabelle asks. "Ryan got a call... They want us to do a show...down in Cali." he sighs. "But you just got here." Jessabelle says. Brendon could hear the dissapointment in her soft voice.
"I know. We should get going," Brendon said reluctantly. Jessabelle agreed and climbed off the hood of the car and into the black Lambo. Brendon closed her door and ran to the other side.
"I had a great time tonight." Jessabelle smiled. Brendon's face lit up. "I did too." he smiled back. The car engine purred and he drove off.
