The morning light hits my face, I look over and check what time it is on my phone, it reads 12:00. I look over to see that all my brothers are asleep in the beds next to me. All accept Zayn, he's probably out painting. I get up and head downstairs. I look out of the window, and sure enough there stands a Zayn painting on an easel.
I put on my winter coat and slippers then walk outside. The frosty air hits my face, and I instantly wrap my arms around myself to keep warm.
"That looks amazing Zayn." I say to him. Looking at his painting in awe.
"It's not anything special. Just a quick painting." He says.
"It's still good." I say to him with a smile.
"Thanks little sis." He says and ruffles my hair.
"I wish I could paint like that." I say.
"I've seen you pain Olive you're really good." He says to me his eyes swimming with sincerity.
"Thank you Zaynie." I laugh at the nickname I gave him. It's been his Nicki for a long time, when I was little I heard my dad call him that mockingly and ever since then it kinda stuck with me.
"Let's head inside. I'm craving waffles and fruit." Zayn says to me, he begins to pick up his painting mess, and while doing so I look over and see three deers. There's a mom and two foals. They cautiously traught over to us and sniff us curiously. They don't seem scared at all, so I reach my hand out slowly and pet the momma on the ear. She flinches at first, but then let's me pet her and her babies.

The smell of waffles fill my senses jolting a rush of excitement through my veins. My dad's waffles are the best. I haven't seen them for a long time, and I haven't had any of his waffles for at least two years, and I've been craving them for a long time.
My dad comes over to me and sets down a delicious pile of waffles with strawberries, bananas, and blueberries on top drizzled with home made syrup.
