George's POV

I woke up, and Meredy was gone. My first thought was that she had gone down for breakfast, but I realized that it was six in the morning. Plus her wand and cloak were gone. It was Christmas morning, why would she leave! Plus she has nowhere to go and is still too injured to Apparate! My mind started racing as I ran down the stairs. No shirt on, no shoes on, just pajama bottoms. I was too scared of what I'd find downstairs- or what I would I wouldn't find. I tried my best to be quiet so I wouldn't wake Mum, but Meredy was the main point on my mind. Finally I got to the living room, and she wasn't there. I ran to the door and swung it open to be greeted by none other than-

 "Neville?"

"Aye mate. I know it's early, but have you seen Luna?"

I looked at the man infront of me. Wearing a sweater marked with a N. Great, Mum had gotten to him too. I shook my head. "No, sorry mate. Have you seen your sister?" He went wide eyed.

"She's gone?" He asked. I nodded in response. He looked at the snow outside and pondered for a minute, then looked back at me. "It's cold."

 "Quite."

 "Why aren't you wearing clothes?"

I looked down at my bare chest and feet, then back at him. "Why are you wearing that sweater?" He shrugged.

"It's warm, but touche." I questioned his now nonchalant attitude, then started putting two and two together. Meredy was gone. Luna was gone. Duh George.

"Would you like to come inside for hot chocolate?" I asked. Neville smiled.

 "Please and thank you."

Meredy's POV

"This would be pretty for Ginny, don't you think?" Luna said in her light tone that I loved. She motioned to a scarlet knit hat and glove set with gold trimmings. Finally, a gift  for her. I nodded in agreement.

"It's perfect." Luna and I had been out shopping since three o'clock this morning getting last minute presents- very last minute- for the family. "So we just need to find something for George and Neville, right?" I asked.

"Presumeably so," She said as she picked up Ginny's present. I yawned. It was only five o'clock! It felt like it had been endless hours of shopping, not just two. But whatever, I was having fun. We were almost done too. Luna knew some pretty good places to shop. We had found presents for Mr. and Mrs. Weasley (I got Mr. Weasley a rubber duck because of the conversations we've had about my Muggle friends.) We also found presents for Teddy, James, Xenophilius, Ron, Hermione, Harry, Ginny(now), Bill, Fluer, Victoire, Percy, Audrey, and little Rosey. Oh right, and Charlie! I was so excited that my old friend was coming down! I found this little blue and gold music box that was magically enchanted so that whenever the dragon turned out of it's egg it would blow harmless fire. It was perfect. Now just need to get Neville and George something..

"What would Neville like?" I asked Luna. I didn't know him as well as she did.

"Something to do with plants I'd say, he sure loves Herbology. Here, I know right where to look." We paid for Ginny's present and left the store, walking straight into the heart of Diagon Alley. It was still too early for very many people to  be out and about, Merlin only knows why the shopkeepers are open! Luna says they close at about nine to be home for Christmas. Above us waved a sign that read 'Herbs, Weeds, and Beyond' which is right where Luna was leading me. Immediately as we stepped in I was hit by a wave of familiarity. It smelled like Neville! I grinned not wanting Luna to question me if I laughed, and started looking around for something interesting. "What about this?"
