Part Ten- Meredy's POV

"Congrats, Red." I said with a smile as I walked in his room to him. He grinned back.

"Thanks, Rainbow Trout." He looked at me and shook his head as he left. "You're seriously wearing that?" I looked down at my new sweater. It had a big 'M' on it.

"Mrs. Weasley made it for me for Christmas, I like it."

"Yeah she makes us all one every Christmas," George laughed at me and sat up so I laid on the bed and set my head on his lap. He stroked my hair, making it turn a soft pink.

"I love your hair," George said with a gentle smile.

 "I love your smile."

"I absolutely positively love your eye color."

 "Which one?"

"Both of them. Emerald green, bright blue, beautiful."

"Yours are blue. Both of them. That's better."

 "How's it better?"

"It's.. normal."  George stopped messing with my hair and leaned his face over mine.

"Normal does not mean beautiful, Meredy. You need to know that there's a difference there." George said softly. I didn't know what to say. What should I say to that? It was so sweet and kind, what now..

"Thank you, George." He smiled, and leaned down, and kissed me. For the first time since I had met him. I had wanted this for so long.. It was perfect.

"I-I'm sorry," George said with a laugh. I smiled up at him.

"Don't be," I whispered. George smiled and pulled me up to the pillow. He stretched out and laid next to me. He cradled me in his arms as I drifted off.

 "Merry Christmas, Meredy." George whispered.

"Merry Christmas, Red." I whispered back.

 Fred's POV

This was it. George's heart was filled. He didn't need my guidance anymore. "You go, mate." I stood up from from the chair and leaned over my sleeping brother. "I'll miss you, Georgie. But I am so proud of you." I walked around and kissed Meredy lightly on the cheek. "And thank you, little lady. For taking care of my dear twin there." I walked to the door and took one last look at George and Meredy. I smiled as i shut the door gently and walked out.

The hall was empty, so I continued upstairs for the last time, to Ron's room. Baby Rose, who had just been born hours earlier, was lying in the crib fast asleep. Hermione was lying on Ron's shoulder as they both laid fast asleep as well. I looked over in the crib, and Rose looked back at me. I smiled as tears swelled in my eyes.

"Hi there, Rosey. I'm Fred. I'm your uncle," I said as I tried not to cry. She looked at me, she actually looked at my, and smiled toothlessly. Could she really see me? I reached my hand down as she grabbed my finger. She could see me! Hot tears rolled down my cheeks. "I'm sorry you'll never be able to truly meet me, but I love you. And you have two, wonderful parents. That mother of yours is brilliant. And Ronnie is a great man. A great man.." I squeezed her hand. "Take care of them. They'll need you as much as you need them." She smiled at me and I'm not sure, but I think she squeezed my hand too. Can a baby do that? Yes, I think so.

"See you again," I said as I wiped my eyes. I looked back at Hermione and Ron. "All of you."And with that, I was in the hall again. I walked down the hall to Ginny's room, where she laid with Harry. First things first, I went over and slapped the bugger. "That's for shagging my little sister." I said with a laugh. He bolted up and looked around. "Hi-ya Harry!" I said happily. He looked at me, turned around, and went back to bed as he wrapped his arms around Ginny. "Harry?" I questioned. "Harry! HARRY!!" But it was no good. He couldn't hear or see me. Well I'll be damned.

"George?" A whisper came from  the other side of the room. I looked up to see James II standing at the door.

"Whatcha doing up, James?" I asked him.

"I can't sleep. I thought Mummy could get me back to sleep.." I looked at the sleepy child, and back to my sister.

"Come on James, I'll take you to bed."

"Okay, Georgie." He extended his chubby little arms, so I picked him up.

"Can I tell you a secret?" I asked. He nodded as he laid his head on my chest. "I'm not George. I'm your uncle Fred."

 "Fred? Georgie's twin?" He asked.

"You- you know me?" I stammered. He nodded again.

"Mummy and Daddy and Uncle Percy, and Uncle Ron, and Uncle Bill, and Papa, and Nana, and Aunt 'Ermione, and Uncle George have all told me about you. It's nice to finally meet you." I smiled as he hugged me.

"You too, kiddo." I laid him back in bed and looked around. He was sharing Percy's old room with Teddy. "Goodnight, James." I said quietly as I laid him down.

"Goodnight Uncle Fred." Uncle. I had never been called that before. I liked it.

"James, did you say something?" Teddy said sleepily as he sat up in his bed.

"Yes Teddy, Uncle Fred is here!" James said in an excited whisper.

"James, go to bed. Uncle Fred isn't alive remember? Uncle Percy told us what happened to him in the Great Wizarding War."

"Whatever Teddy! Go back to bed," James said in a huff. He's definitely Ginny's son. I laughed as I walked out of the room. "Wait! Uncle Fred, when will I see you again?" James asked.I looked at him.

"When the time comes," I said. "Until then, don't forget to smile," I joked.

"Keep smiling Freddie," He said as he laid down.

"Keep smiling kid," I agreed as I shut the door. There was one stop left. As I walked downstairs, I felt my heart clench up into a knot. Quietly, I opened the door. "Mum," I whispered. She was sleeping next to Dad, both snoring quietly. I sat on the edge of their bed and looked at them. Besides George, I think my death had affected them most of all.

"Hey Dad, and Mum. I uh, don't know what I want to say to you. I'm just, so sorry. I know George and I didn't live up to your expectations with the shop and everything, but I wan't you to know that we were happy. I was happy. I know you're proud of him. And I'm proud of you guys. I am proud to call you my parents. I love you guys." I choked up. I didn't know what else to say. I think I had said what I needed to. I kissed Mum on the cheek, gripped Dad's hand, and I was ready to go. I slowly walked out of the room, shut the door, and made my way down stairs to the front door. I reached for the knob, but it swung open by itself. A bright light filled the room and I had to shield my eyes. When I focused, I saw someone. She stood in front of me, smiling.

"Hey Fred," She said in that sweet sing-song voice of hers that I had heard all around school, especially on the Quidditch pitch. I took in her dark hair, and her chocolate brown skin. Her big brown eyes..

"Angelina," I said as i exhaled.

"I've been waiting for you," She said. I stood in the door way, in a transe. I wanted to walk forward and touch her, but I couldn't. "Come on, Fred. It's time." She held out her hand. I looked behind me, at the house I had known for my whole life. Then I looked back to her. The place I'd like to call my future. I took that step forward, out of the house. The door slammed shut behind me, sending a wave of air against my back. When I turned around, it was gone. The door had disappeared.

"Come on, Fred. Let's go," Angelina smiled at me. I ran and hugged her tight. She looked the same way she did during the war.. I didn't know she had died. For the first time in years, my heart unclenched.
