Meredy's POV

"George, I love this house," I exclaimed in awe. He walked in with Bandit under his arm and set him down. Bandit took off and started sniffing at the couch and everything he could. I sat back on the couch and threw off my cloak, then George laid out with his head on my lap. I stroked his hair and smiled. He smiled back, but it quickly faded.

"Meredy, can I ask you something?" He asked. I nodded.

 "Of course you can."

"Do your scars hurt? I usually wouldn't ask.. but they look painful. And trust me I know, I only have one ear."

"No, Red. They don't hurt. They did at one point, but it's okay now. They're just scars." I looked down at my arms and the big pink-white marks.

"Where is the worst one?" George asked. I laughed a bit as hot tears swelled up into my eyes.

"There's uh, one across my chest. Where my heart is."

 "How'd you get that?"

"The woman who cursed me, cursed me because I was a bad person. I broke hearts, stole food, lied, out-smarted, blah blah blah.. Anyways she was cursed by a man for being like me, and the man before her was cursed by someone else, and the chain has been going for years. They just pass it on to get it off of them. But I've realized something. I can stop the chain!"

 "You can?"

"Yes, if I bear through it for the rest of my life. It will end."

George didn't say anything, so I looked down at him. He had tears in his eyes and was looking up at me. "I love you, Meredy. I love everything about you. I love your sweet little smile, your ever changing hair, your amazing sense of humor, and how you sing- oh don't look at me like that I've heard you outside the door while you shower- I love how my family loves you, I love how you're so smart yet so giggly, I love that your Patronus is a dragon, I love how you eat, I love how we can lay around and just talk all day, I love how it feels to have you sleeping next to me, I love how kind and caring you are, I love your blue eye and your green eye, and most of all I love how you love me."

That was all it took for me to lean back and kiss him. "I love you George Weasley."

 "Then never leave me."

 "Never."

"Hey Red, dinner is ready." I called out. George came to the kitchen immediately.

"You made dinner! Meredy you didn't have to,"  He hugged me and laughed.

"I don't care, I wanted to. Plus, it's not like I made your favorites. I made my favorites. Pumpkin pasties, cornish pasties, pumpkin juice, and shepard's pie."

"Well it sounds and smells delicious." He kissed my cheek as I handed him a plate. He filled it up and we sat in the living room on the couch to eat and talk. For once, there was just us. No Weasleys, no Longbottoms, no Potters, just us.

"Meredy, this is really good." He said through a mouthful of pumpkin.

 "Why thank you, George."

"We get this all the time now, right?" He smirked.

"Only if you're good." I smiled.

 "You're staying, right?"

"As long as you want, Reddie."

 "I love you."

 "And I love you."

Can anyone else out there say best day ever? I can. Best day ever.
