"Hey beautiful" Leon started to the still sleeping girl next to him. "You should wake up soon, I miss you a lot" He told her and took her hand in his.
"We all miss her" Leon heard from behind him on which he turned around. He smiled softly when he noticed all his friends, Herman and Angie standing there.
Leon turned his gaze back to Violetta and admired her soft brown locks. He placed his hand on her hair and stroke it softly. He then moved his lips towards her head and kissed it slightly.
Meanwhile the others sat down on the chairs around the room. "What are you all doing here?" Leon asked the group while his eyes were stuck on Violetta.
"Well, we came to give you something" Herman explained but Leon didn't bother to look up from Violetta. "Actually it's for you and Violetta" Herman added to the sentence. That caught Leon's attention as he took his eyes of his sleeping girlfriend.
He turned himself to Herman who continued speaking. "All of Violetta's fans were and are really shocked too of course. Most of them saw it live on TV. We asked them to send their cards and gifts to an adress where we just picked them up" Now Herman had Leon's full attention.
He knew what Violetta wanted him to do with those cards. Read all of them and then put them in her special room.
"Where are the gifts and cards?" Leon asked on which small laughs escaped from a few mouths.
"Well, it doesn't fit in here. Come outside with us, then you can see how many" Herman explained and Leon's eyes widened.
Violetta always got loads of gifts, but so many?
He decided to stand up from the bed and placed a kiss on Violetta's head. He walked behind Herman outside, followed by all his friends. When they were outside he saw a huge truck, filled with gifts and cards from Violetta's fans.
Automatically his hand went to his mouth. "Wow" He said, making the others laugh slightly.
"There is only one thing Violetta would want us to do" Leon then said and smiled in himself.
"What?" He heard one of his friends ask behind him.
"Read all of them and place them in her room" He concluded on which all the others smiled and nodded.
They all knew Leon was 100% right about what he said. That's what Violetta always did.

They had taken a big part of the gifts and cards and placed them in Violetta's hospital room. The whole floor was filled with cards and gifts, no place left to walk. Everyone was sitting on a chair and Leon on the side of Violetta's bed.
They were opening and reading all the cards, and they checked out all the gifts. Sometimes you heard a laugh or a tear was rolling over someone's cheek.
