SHAWN
"Ariana, I'm breaking up with you, I know you're good in bed well kinda and somewhat seem like a nice human being but the girl I've always loved is going to be back in town. I don't need you anymore", Nick said with a smirk on his face, winking as he turned around facing his back and walked away.

Here we were at the welcoming party of our highschool. Niall, Ariana and I, best friends since the very beginning. Never hid anything from each other, we are so tight, nothing can EVER break us apart. They stood by me when my mother passed away in a car accident supporting me through thick and thin... I don't deserve them.

"Ouch, that was harsh", I exclaimed.

"At least he said you were good in bed and a nice human being", Niall chuckled.

Ariana seemed so frustrated.
She hit the two us with her handbag.

"How could he insult me like that oh my god, that was so embarrassing!!!! ugh I'm going to kill him", she squealed.

"He doesn't deserve you anyway Ari, don't worry about it!!", Naill replied with his hand on her shoulder.

"I'll stop worrying about it, when I see him heart broken. I did sort of like him, you guys!!! I need to find out who that girl is though", she said sipping her champagne.

Niall and I both gave each other a look, a look that indicated how we knew she was up to something and it was not going to be good.

The rest of the event went pretty smoothly, expect one person... Ariana. She drank too much IN THE AFTERNOON. Just as we were about to take her home, I received a call from my father asking me to come over to his office. I never understood why he was so distant, we never spent time with each other after my mother's passing. He was busy working all the time, we lived under the same roof but had no conversations so I was confused, but still excited to see him.

"Hey man, my father needs me urgently. You mind taking her home... alone?", I questioned while grabbing my wallet and placing my blazer over my shoulder.

"Sure man", he replied.

I got into the cab placing my blazer and phone on the seat and headed to his office. It wasn't very far... I reached in about 30 minutes.

I walked into the office, the guards and receptionist wishing me. I pressed the button to the floor of my father's office.

After a couple knocks, "Come in", he yelled. I walked in to see him holding a few papers, he looked at me with a blank expression.
"There's no other way to say this, but read this", he said giving me the papers.

My eyes widen with frustration as I read the words 'Mr. Manuel Mendes isn't Shawn Mendes biological father since the DNA's do not match' my heart shattered into a million pieces.

"How long did you know?", I asked my eyes were now filled with tears but just enough to not stream down.

"For quite sometime now, since you're 18 I thought I'd be the right time to tell you. I want you out of my site, I've got you an apartment to live in, in which you'll be provided with everything you need. Don't misbehave orelse I'll take away what you already have. Not to forget your belongings have already been shifted so don't worry.", he replied adjusting his specks.

My fists clenched, I stormed out. My face was pale, I had nothing I could say.

I sat in the bus stop, reading the paper again and again hoping that I was just dreaming or misread it but I didn't.
I formed the paper into a paper plane and flew it away heading into the bus. Why let it bother me, my mom always said that if I was worried, scared or sad just write it down and turn it into a paper plane to fly it away.

CAMILA
I sat on the bus stop, with my suitcase and notebook penning down my thoughts and doodling when I notice a guy sitting beside me... he didn't seem too well. As the bus approached I noticed a paper plane next to my feet which I'm assuming was the guy's... before I could call him, he got into the bus and I followed.

He walked pass the bus driver.

"Excuse me, you need to pay for the bus ticket if you want to travel", the driver questioned.

"I'm sorry, do you take credit cards?", he asked politely.

"Sorry sir, you'll have to leave we don't", the driver replied.

I interrupted by saying I'd pay for the both of us. His eyes stared into mine.
"Thanks", he bluntly said while walking towards an empty seat.

I followed him. "Hey listen, I think you dropped this by mistake", I said while handing the paper to him.

"You can keep it, just don't look into it", he replied.

I arched my eyebrows, what a weirdo.

The rest of the journey was a blur, I fell asleep, but woke up right just in time to my destination. The guy with the brown locks went off at the same place. This town seems interesting. I headed to the apartment I'd be staying in this year and if this wasn't creepy enough the guy walked in the same direction but was in front of me.
He turned around facing me. "Are you following me? I'm not interested in you", he said.

"Oh, get over yourself, I have to be heading towards the same direction anyway", I replied while crossing my arms walking past him.

I walked into the apartment right opposite the guy's... so we're neighbours. THIS IS GOING TO BE VERY INTERESTING IT SEEMS.
"Look's like we'll have to see each other's face everyday now", I said.

"Lucky for you", he replied as he walked into his flat

"You wish", rolled my eyes and put in the code of my flat and walking in.
