Harry (Best Music Video of the Year): Both of you were fine both being nominated since you were super competitive with each other, in a friendly way, and it wasn’t like either of you choreographed the music videos so it wasn’t super personal. Throughout the entire awards show, you kept shooting each other funny looks which you were sure the cameras were getting but you didn’t care. When the category was announced you both started getting pumped up, staring at the announcer. Eventually, the name of your band came out of his mouth and you guys jumped up, clapping. When you got up on the stage and caught Harry rolling his eyes you grabbed the mic and said, “Well played big brother, but I guess I’ll always be the best.” He laughed and mouthed, “You’re gonna get it” but you were too happy to care.
Liam (Best Dressed- not sure if this is real but I ran out of ideas): You had teased him ever since you both found out you were nominated for the same category; both of you were a little shocked you had been nominated. You didn’t think either of your style was that fantastic but apparently, “The Payne twins just have it” The night of the awards, you both teased each other about the clothes you were wearing but it was a little tense. You didn’t want whoever lost to be upset. Once inside, you were seated separately but you kept glancing at each other but oddly avoided each other’s eyes as the category was announced. After some banter, it was said that Liam had won and you couldn’t help but feel a little crushed. But when you looked up at your blushing twin who caught your eye from the stage and said, “To be honest, I base a lot of my style on (Y/N) so I think this one goes to both of us,” you were okay.
Zayn (Most Influential Celebrity): You were a little scared. You didn’t care whether you won or lost and neither did Zayn but you had been getting tons of hate about both being nominated. Fans were threatening you if you won and telling you to drop out but you hadn’t let Zayn know since it was your problem. You couldn’t help but let out a relieved sigh as Zayn was announced the winner of the category and gave his short speech. After the show, you ran up and hugged him tightly, congratulating him and he smiled, “I knew you’d be okay with this. But I was expecting some sarcastic comment, why are you so relived?” “Some fans have been threatening her,” your friend piped, up ignoring your glare. “She didn’t want you to worry about it.” “(Y/N),” Zayn scrunched his eyebrows together. “Is this true?” When you nodded he sighed and hugged you tightly, “I’m sorry, you deserved to win just as much as me. I’ll handle those girls.”
Niall (Best Band of the Year): You both sort of just looked across the room at each other as the category both of your bands were in was announced. Neither of you really wanted to win because you didn’t want the other to feel bad. But you knew One Direction would win, your band was still pretty new and Directioners were hardcore, you just wanted him to be happy when he won this. You waited, holding your breath and hoping it would be One Direction who won. When they were announced, even though you felt a little crushed, you were beyond happy looking at your big brother’s smiling face. Afterwards, he quickly found you and hugged, “Man I’m sorry (Y/N) you guy’s should’ve won.” “Are you serious Niall?” you laughed, poking his chest. “You deserved it cause you’re the best.” He smiled, “I love you.” “I love you too, now let’s go party!”
Louis (Song of the Year): You raised your eyebrow over at him as the names of your songs were announced with two others and he stuck his tongue out. This one was personal for you but not for Louis. You had written the song that was nominated for your band but he hadn’t and if he won you were going to be slightly offended. There was a slight pause before Selena (Gomez, who was announcing the song) shouted out the name of your song and it started playing. The other boys started laughing and hitting Louis on the back as you laughed and ran up to accept the award with your band. When you looked out of the crowd, Louis was laughing and rolling his eyes as he gave you a thumbs up.
